00:46Thank you
00:47Love you guys. Yeah, and you know the internet loves to put idols into boxes, you know, like the leader,
00:52the dancer, the vocalist
00:53But what is something that each of you has that maybe fans haven't seen yet like a hidden talent?
00:58You know, we always trying to be a all all-rounder group
01:02So we don't talk about the you know vocalist like dancers
01:05So we only have a leader and producer on the group
01:09Um, I think maybe each of us have a lot of new
01:15Title in the group
01:18Especially me is the mother
01:20Yeah
01:21I'm the mother of X-Love
01:23I saw the the German Muti
01:25Yeah
01:25You know, yeah
01:26Right, right, right
01:27I learned German for 10 years, but I'm bad at it
01:30But yeah, you are the mother
01:31It's in your name
01:33And how about you, you?
01:35Um
01:35Princess
01:36Yes
01:37Okay
01:37I'm princess
01:39Love that
01:39You're a little princess of X-Love
01:41Thank you
01:42And you?
01:43Yes, in serve era, I'm gorgeous diva
01:46So like, I don't change your mind
01:49This part is my part, so
01:51Okay
01:51So you always have a new title for each comeback?
01:54Yeah
01:55Okay
01:55All right
01:56Cool
01:56We didn't know that
01:57You look forward to it
01:59Always surprised
02:00Didn't know
02:00Oh, I just want to show cute things and
02:05I want to show cute things to the fans
02:07I want to show cute things to the fans
02:09You don't need to care about that
02:11Okay
02:11Yeah
02:12It's cute
02:13No
02:13I care
02:14I care a lot
02:16Well, we're here to talk about music as well
02:18You know, and you guys have new music that's out
02:20But from I'm A B to I God
02:23Where do you think you've grown the most creatively so far?
02:27I think the creativity side of me
02:30It's always the same
02:31Because when I choose to be X-Love
02:36Leader and producer of this group
02:38And also the performer in this group
02:41I think I just open all the ideas
02:45And open all the identities of my inside of me
02:49Like, get them out right now
02:52So I'm still the same
02:53But the different thing is
02:56I get a lot of love from
02:58You know, all around the world
02:59And our fandom name is Evil
03:02And Evil's giving us a lot of
03:04A lot of love and you know
03:06Everything
03:07So I think every time I start to get more confidence
03:12And you know, they make me more love myself
03:16Like even more every time
03:18So that's the huge part
03:21Nice
03:21Yes
03:22A lot of love
03:24I think it's very different
03:29If IFit or I can attend to live
03:32I can't attend to live
03:35So if I want to let a break
03:35So I think people are looking at me
03:38And now, if I want to set me
03:39tuna
03:41I don't know
03:43If I hire people
03:43I wanna keep watching
03:43To enjoy what I want
03:46It's crazy
03:47We want to see
03:48I did a lot of foreign shows, and I think I grew up a lot of live talent, and I
04:00had a lot of confidence on the stage.
04:03And the attitude, also all the technique of the dance and singing, you know, when you're doing a live.
04:10Yeah.
04:11Nice. Nice.
04:12I think I've been doing a lot of work on the stage.
04:22I've also been learning more about the stage before, and I think I'm more excited about it.
04:38I'm really excited about the stage.
04:39I think I'm more excited about the stage.
04:43We love to see the growth. Amazing. It sounds like you guys have been doing a lot of that as
04:47well.
04:47Even in the music, you know, you guys have blended a lot of different genres in everything that you do.
04:53But what makes it, you know, this is us whenever you're picking music or writing music,
04:58what is it about a song where you're like, yes, this is X-Love?
05:00I think as an artist or as a human, you know, everybody loves music, everybody's enjoy music.
05:08And the music and the, you know, the enjoy is the DNA, you know, the human DNA.
05:15We know how to enjoy the music. So I think when we picking the music or making the music,
05:22we don't think about that much rules, you know, the song is gonna, you have to be do this
05:28or you have to put it on like high notes or you have to, you have to do that, you
05:32have to do this.
05:33I think we're more focused on the side is the soul.
05:39You just, when you're hearing the music, you want to dance and that song make you want to dance.
05:45And that song giving you such a special emotional thing or like wake you up or, you know, cool down
05:53or just like giving you something message is like come to more naturally.
05:58So that's the point, like how we choosing the song and making the song just focus more, you know, inside
06:05of us.
06:06Right. Right. Right. And I mean, you're the producer of the group, right?
06:08Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
06:09When it comes to that too, I mean, how is it having somebody from inside the group being in the
06:14studio
06:14and having that producer touch to it? And how does that change the dynamic of making music overall?
06:20I don't know. It's like for me, it's more, it's more confidence to perform.
06:26Because I know what, what did I made and I know what I want to do.
06:32And everything was, you know, we, we have the plan and everything, it's our pick.
06:39And we love that. And we love every part of the album.
06:43And you know, what do you feel like producing team within itself?
06:50It's a way to do it.
06:54You can create a space for me to create a space for me.
07:01I feel like I'm feeling more comfortable.
07:02I feel like I'm doing a job for you to be able to do it.
07:08You need to be able to do it.
07:09You have to go away from the bottom of the line.
07:22I'm so happy and grateful for that.
07:28And your style and your choreo, you know, speaking of expression,
07:32it usually kind of challenges expectations before people even hear the music in general.
07:37You know, when it comes to the music or choreo or something, where do you guys start usually?
07:43Because that is such a thing for the team in general.
07:46I think all the stories and aesthetic came first because I made that first.
07:54After that, I started picking up the music and making the music.
07:58So, you know, my Hobbit is painting and I love to do a lot of things.
08:04And also I drew, like, all the characters for each of the members.
08:10And we had all, you know, stories and characters and all the aesthetic.
08:16So, I think if we had more clearly the visual concept and the plan, the music is, we can making
08:27music more faster.
08:29And for me, I think that's my style to producing all the albums.
08:34Yeah, it's your creative process. That makes sense.
08:37And, you know, I feel like there is kind of this story.
08:40It's like an overarching kind of vibe when it comes to each of our releases.
08:44It's more like another chapter is being added.
08:47Do you always make things with this idea of an overarching, longer story?
08:51Or is it just kind of like how you guys are feeling in the moment?
08:54This is a little bit different for each of the parts.
08:58The story of X-Love, the huge, like, whole story and the concept.
09:04And we had all the, like, you know, different characters on the stories.
09:10It's fixed. We made that before we debuted, you know, it's pre-debuted.
09:15But music, I think, is more, we focus on the vibe, like, what we enjoy right now in this age.
09:24And, you know, people, all we're gonna getting old, you know, because we're not stopped at the same age.
09:32So, all the thing is going to change.
09:36Like, what you like, what you enjoy, all the fashion, music, and the beauty, everything is, yeah, it's had to
09:42be changed.
09:43So, we want to more focus on our, you know, true inside.
09:47And maybe the music style is going to be changed.
09:49We don't know, like, what's coming up next.
09:52But, you know, the aesthetic and the story, it's, we have, we have something, should do.
09:57But music, we more, you know, freely to open up all the things, like, what we enjoy right now in
10:04this time.
10:05Yeah, and people are obviously resonating.
10:06You guys have built such an amazing fan base across the world, you know, which is amazing to see.
10:11And we love all your fans, but has meeting international fans changed the way that you guys approach making music
10:17at all?
10:19It's the same.
10:35It's the same.
10:37Yeah.
10:37But we also get a lot of inspiration.
10:40Yeah.
10:42From, from our evils.
10:44Yeah.
10:44But, you know, as an artist, I think you should, you have to, you know, very, very clearly know what
10:54you're going to do and what you want to tell everybody.
10:57Right, right, right, right.
10:58So, we're going to keep the same mind and show up everything we feel and want to share with everyone.
11:06Yeah.
11:07We're going to keep doing it.
11:08Right.
11:09Especially through the music.
11:10I mean, back to that as well, like, when it comes to making music, you know, sometimes fans, they'll see
11:15the final product and they don't know how much work went behind, you know, doing everything, especially being in a
11:21producer studio or something.
11:22What is something that takes a lot longer that you think fans would not understand at all?
11:28You know, hair, makeup stuff is taking a lot of time.
11:32Yeah.
11:33Agreed.
11:35And our, you know, outfit, you know, this outfit is not, we can, you cannot buy at the store.
11:45Right.
11:45This is all, you know, designed by our team, our stylists and all the ideas on it.
11:51So, it all takes a lot of time.
11:54Right.
11:54And another thing maybe it's, I think everybody understands like how hard to making an album.
12:02But picking up a music, yeah, it's taking a lot of time.
12:07Yeah.
12:07And making a music is also taking a lot of time.
12:10And, but this is so randomly.
12:12Sometimes you can make so quick, like so fast.
12:17Right, yeah.
12:21Yeah.
12:22Well, when it comes to the fits, I mean like, by the way, you guys all look amazing right now.
12:25We have to give some props.
12:28How, I mean, how long does that take?
12:29You know, from day one, a concept to then actually putting something on, how long would that take?
12:36You wanna guess?
12:37You wanna guess?
12:37Maybe just for a day.
12:39Simple one.
12:40Yeah.
12:40Like one day.
12:41I would say minimum two weeks.
12:43Oh, you mean for the whole, whole planning.
12:46Yeah.
12:47We make all the plans.
12:49Ah, it's, it's randomly.
12:50But like, you know, first I told, I told you like, I always make the, you know, aesthetic,
12:56all the looks and this like, this kind of visual first.
12:59So, when I just have an idea, I just like, call my stylist because we're so close with each other.
13:06Like maybe it's at night or something.
13:08It's like, we're just having a talk like, ah, I think next time I wanna do something like that.
13:12You know the vibe, you know the anime like that.
13:14Right.
13:14You know this, you know that.
13:15And we're just like, sharing the pictures or the stories and we just like randomly pick up the styling.
13:21Yeah.
13:21So that's maybe takes two weeks.
13:23Okay, okay, okay.
13:24Maybe, do you wanna guess how long it's getting ready for a day?
13:29Mmm, getting ready.
13:30Mmm, mmm, mmm.
13:33Mmm, depends.
13:34Hour and a half, I say would be base.
13:37Oh.
13:37But up to three hours, I think would be expected.
13:41For each?
13:42For, yeah, for like, everybody to get ready.
13:45Oh, wow.
13:45So close.
13:45Yeah, it's close.
13:46It's close.
13:48What's the, what's the real answer?
13:49But all members, like, five, five, four, five hours?
13:53For all of us, when we just, okay, get ready to go.
13:59Yeah.
14:00It takes five hours.
14:01Yeah.
14:02But we also have, you know, four, like two makeup artists and two hair artists.
14:08And we can, yeah, we start together and we finish together.
14:12It takes five hours.
14:14When we go to the music show, we, maybe we should like, wearing the, what?
14:19Wig.
14:20Sorry.
14:21Nice, nice, nice.
14:22Wig is taking a lot of time.
14:23Wig is taking forever.
14:24That's why I don't wear them.
14:26I would love to.
14:27It's just, I can't, it's a skill.
14:28I can't do it.
14:29It's a lot.
14:30But because your concept encourages people to challenge expectations,
14:34is there anything about, like, yourself?
14:36You found yourself becoming more confident throughout the time that you've been in XLOVE.
15:00Oh wow.
15:01That's a really good answer.
15:02Wow.
15:03That's amazing.
15:16That's amazing.
15:18That's amazing.
15:25That's amazing.
15:27I would love to see that.
15:28You know, before we being XLOVE, it's a little bit hard to talking about the fashion you like,
15:35and maybe some kind of icon, you know, the artist, like who I like and who I want to be,
15:42maybe.
15:44But before we, we are, we are XLOVE, sometime when we're talking about it, somebody is like,
15:50Oh, what?
15:52Huh?
15:53Yeah.
15:53It's like, you're a boy.
15:55You're a man.
15:55Why are you talking about it?
15:57Right.
15:57And right now, I think everybody, it starts to getting to know, like, we are XLOVE.
16:03Yeah, right.
16:04And they, they just like can take it like just straight, like no better, you know, the gender or something.
16:10It's like, Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. I like it. Okay, cool.
16:14So we enjoyed it so much, you know?
16:16Yeah.
16:17It's almost like real acceptance.
16:19Yeah.
16:19Yes.
16:20Feeling very confident in who you are as you are.
16:23That's so amazing.
16:25And I love that for you guys.
16:27You're welcome.
16:28But out of all the members, who completely transforms the moment a camera turns on,
16:33and then who is like, you know, pretty much the same on and off camera?
16:38The most different member.
16:41Okay.
16:41Three, two, one.
16:43Nice.
16:44It's me.
16:46It's Rui.
16:47Nice.
16:48Rui is so different.
16:50Yes. Rui, it's so cute.
16:52You know, this is, this is, this is a little,
16:55we call, we call like me, me too.
16:57It's like, we are like drag, drag up, dragging up.
17:01Okay.
17:02This is the character, like drag.
17:03Right, right, right.
17:05And when, when taking the wig off and taking the contacts off, that, that is pretty cute.
17:13Yeah.
17:13You know, it's a other person, but it's still Rui, but it's so cute.
17:16Attitude.
17:17Wow.
17:18Well, I mean like, when did you realize that you wanted to entertain?
17:21Are you an introvert?
17:24I'm an introvert.
17:26Why am I?
17:28No.
17:28I'm an introvert.
17:29I'm an introvert, but I'm acting and wearing a hat and using my hair.
17:35I'm wearing a hat and wearing a hat and wearing my hat, and wear my outfit, and the attitude is
17:38naturally.
17:43Like a mess, or?
17:44You know, every outfit, Louis has different attitude, and that comes so naturally.
17:53But it's a kind of natural look, and it's just Louis wearing a suit, and it's just Louis.
18:02Louis had a lot of Louis inside.
18:05Nice. I'm sure I have some inside as well.
18:08But who's the member that is exactly the same?
18:11Three, two, one.
18:12I think Haru.
18:16But I think Mootie and Haru.
18:20You know, me and Hyun are so different.
18:23So different.
18:25Sorry.
18:27So different.
18:28Who are you?
18:30I think Mootie and Haru.
18:32Good to know.
18:33Yeah, Haru is like, huh?
18:36Just like, and off is, huh?
18:38Yeah.
18:41Yeah.
18:42Yeah.
18:43Well, speaking of swapping jobs, if you had to for a day, who would make the best leader, and then
18:47who would cause absolute chaos?
18:48I don't understand what the best leader is.
19:03I don't know.
19:05I don't know.
19:05I don't know.
19:05It's me.
19:07Maybe me and Haru.
19:08I don't know.
19:09Perfect.
19:11My neck perfect.
19:13Maybe Hyun is better.
19:14Yeah.
19:15Being a second leader.
19:16Okay.
19:17Nice.
19:18Hello, second leader.
19:20I am a second leader.
19:22It's me.
19:23Yeah.
19:23Well, we didn't know that.
19:25Oh, we didn't know that.
19:26Okay, I'm going to try one more.
19:27Let's go.
19:28Okay.
19:30I don't think we're playing the best leader role in our team.
19:35And I think I'm just trying to be the best leader role in my team.
19:41I'm still trying to be the best leader role in my team.
19:43If we haven't seen Mootie, we're still learning.
19:46So, if we want to be a leader role, I can't do anything.
19:54Wow, I love that.
19:59Oh wow, you're well loved.
20:03I think it's a lot of stress and stress.
20:11Amazing. Well, let's go back to traveling.
20:14Because you guys have traveled so much already.
20:17But what if you guys, you know, when it comes to like,
20:20I don't know, like not fans or food or anything else like that,
20:22but which country maybe surprised you the most in any way?
20:26When I went to Europe, I was like, this.
20:31When I went to Europe, I was like, oh, what is this?
20:34I was like, oh, what is this?
20:35I was like, oh, what is this?
20:44Yeah.
20:47I feel like it's all from soccer.
20:49It's like slash football experiences.
20:51That makes sense.
20:52Europe is a lot of fun for me too.
20:53I love it.
20:54But finish the sentence.
20:55You officially become an ex-love fan or an evil when?
20:59I'm going to say, enjoy who you are and enjoy your life and be being you.
21:12Give me energy.
21:15Just show proof one and only hold the identity, myself and yourself.
21:23Maybe just do a dance cover.
21:25Dance cover.
21:26And now you're a fan.
21:27There you go.
21:28Congratulations.
21:29So fast forward five years.
21:31When it comes to the kind of, you know, I guess like the inspiration you guys want to leave behind,
21:35what do you hope fans take away from ex-love?
21:39I always, I always like talking about it.
21:42It's like, I hope, I'm not hope like huge.
21:45It's just a little thing.
21:46I just hope everybody can, we can be a little window of the wall.
21:53You didn't see the sun and the star before ex-love come to your life.
21:59So we just want to be a little window.
22:01So you can see the light and you can feel the wind and fresh the air inside of you.
22:07So we can work that well to getting you a little light and maybe a little bit like a different
22:17side of the view.
22:19So I hope everyone can feel that and get to know there have another way or the new lifestyle you
22:28still can choose.
22:29And also you can be everything you want.
22:35And also it even can be different every day.
22:38You can wear everything different.
22:40And just enjoy your life.
22:43Absolutely.
22:43That was beautiful.
22:45Wow.
22:45That's such a great answer.
22:47Anyone have like a personal goal?
22:49Maybe in five years, I really want, you know, our fans to feel this way about what we gave them.
22:53Well, I think it's a big dream.
