00:14Principally, why was it if this whole situation was so close to the threshold

00:20that needed to be met by the CPS for the trial to continue,

00:24why was it that the government wasn't involved in making sure that that threshold was met

00:29given the fact that there was clear evidence that at the time that the alleged offences occurred

00:35the Conservative government was very clear as to the threat that China posed to our country.
