00:00Good evening and welcome back to Carl Shorten. I've got joint manager Jay
00:05Lovett with me. Jay, two wins on the bounce, you must be delighted. Yeah, very
00:10very pleased. They're very important six points to us and very much needed and
00:17it's nice to have them. We're in a space of 48 hours, a big turnaround or quick
00:21turnaround from Saturday to Monday and I think the boys adapted absolutely
00:26brilliant to it so yeah we're very very pleased. Good. The club moves up to
00:33eighth place. I know you're not one for looking at the table two early doors but
00:36I know all the fans out there are looking at the table up to eighth place.
00:40Does that mean a lot to you at the moment? It looks prettier when you look at the
00:44league table, of course it does, where we were two games ago. It's amazing what six
00:48points can do but everything is so tightly congested in that sort of middle area at
00:52the moment that one or two wins can leapfrog you like five or six places so
00:56yeah definitely not getting carried away of it but it does make prettier looking or
01:00prettier viewing when you do look at the league table. Long long way to go yeah
01:04but it's nice to get those points on the board. Two really very exciting home
01:11opportunities coming up for the club, for everybody connected with the club. We've
01:16got Whitehawk local derby on Saturday and then we go into this huge FA trophy
01:20against Folkestone. The message would be for everybody in the local area to come
01:28out and get to those games wouldn't it V? Yeah we noticed on Saturday we had a
01:34decent sized crowd there, 737 I think it was. Some new faces there and I think Gary
01:40alluded to it in his interview after the game saying it was great to have those new
01:45faces at the ground. They made a big impact in terms of being vocal on the
01:50sidelines in a real positive way for us and yeah it's nicer to welcome people in
01:56like that but yeah this club's growing this club's fan base will grow as
02:00results pick up. Fans always come in through the door as well to see what the
02:05fuss is about and watch our progression. The stadium's completely changed and it's a
02:10really lovely setting to come to so yeah everything's on the up and things will
02:16keep improving. And lastly the away fans tonight were fantastic weren't they?
02:20Yeah. Absolutely top-notch. That really must have lifted the team. It's like
02:27every game like these fans like it's not just a one-off game they support us
02:32through thick and thin, through everything and always positive with the boys so
02:36yeah that their support is massive the boys really appreciate it we really
02:41appreciate it and when we can turn in some decent performances like tonight it
02:45hopefully makes it all worthwhile for them guys making the commitment to travel
02:50up here and support us paying to come through the gate. It makes a good day for them
02:53and as I said we really do appreciate it.
02:57Well anyway I'll leave it there but congratulations six points it's priceless
03:02isn't it? Good luck with going forward and I'm sure that there'll be a big
03:06crab there especially when Whitehawk turn on. Thanks very much. Cheers to them.
