00:23The security operatives arrested a suspect, Egeo Forgodwin Emeka, a 52-year-old businessman who concealed 127 wraps of cocaine in his stomach, private part while traveling from Bangkok, Thailand via Ethiopian Airlines.
00:39NDLEA in a statement made on Sunday, said that the bids by another set of criminal syndicates to ship 2.6kg skunk and 422g tapentadol 250mg concealed in tablets of black soap heading to Turkey.
00:56169g of cocaine hidden in ladies' handbags going to Australia and 568g of loud, a strong strain of cannabis concealed in containers of herbs going to United Arab Emirates were thwarted by NDLEA operatives at some courier companies in Lagos.

01:34A 52-year-old businessman Egeo Forgodwin Emeka has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, at the Malamaminu Kano International Airport, Makia, Kano, following which a total of 127 wraps of cocaine concealed in his private part and stomach have been recovered after days under excretion observation.
01:58Egeo Forgodwin Egeo Forgodwin Emeka, who operates boutiques in Lagos and Anitsha, Anamra state, was taken into NDLEA custody upon his arrival from Bangkok, Thailand via Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET-941 on Wednesday 8 October 2025 following credible intelligence.
02:18He was taken for body scan which confirmed he ingested illicit drugs and had some concealed in his private part.
02:25A total of 58 wraps of cocaine were immediately recovered from his pant after which he was taken for excretion observation during which he ingested 69 pellets of cocaine in 7 excretions bringing the total number of wraps of the class a drug recovered from him to 127 weighing 1.388 kilograms.
02:45Three consignments of illicit drugs heading to the United Kingdom were on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 October intercepted at a courier company in Lagos by NDLEA operatives.
02:57One of the shipments, 1.74 kilograms of methamphetamine was recovered from blocks of glass ceramics, while another shipment contains 114 grams and 168 grams of pentazocene and tramadol injections respectively just as the third consignment contains 48 grams of tramadol capsules concealed in vitamin C container, all going to the UK.

03:54Meanwhile, a total of 27,510 pills of rohypnol concealed in sachets of alcoholic drinks going to South Africa have been intercepted by NDLEA offices at the export shed of the Matala Mohamed International Airport, MMIA, Akeja, Lagos.
04:13After the initial arrest of a freight agent and a cab driver linked to the shipment, a follow-up operation at Oingbo Market in Lagos led to the arrest of the mastermind, 46-year-old Samuel Ombaroui, alias Yellow, on the 2nd of October.
04:29Same day, an Italy-based businessman, in his inner Augusta Nuyenwen was arrested by operatives while attempting to export 3,700 pills of tramadol 225 milligrams and 2,600 tabs of tapantadol 200 milligrams hidden in food items to the European country.
04:49Country, he claimed he was trafficking the opioids for someone else for a fee of 945 euros, 945 euros.
04:59In Edo State, a raid of the home of a suspect Emanuel Sunday, 33, at Wubbek Payekperi in Etsuko Central Local Government Area led to the recovery of 47-kilogram skunk, a strain of cannabis.
05:12Two suspects, Nareni Iobumiela Wiodo, 48, and Oladejo Taiwo, 52, were on Wednesday 8 October arrested at Omofofon Village, IFE South Local Government Area, Osan State following the seizure of 635 kilograms of skunk from their Toyota Hiace bus marked DDA65ZY.
05:35Two other suspects, Timothy Omofofon, 41, and Isaac Akiatan, 36, were nabbed at same location with 100 kilograms skunk recovered from them along with their motorcycle.
05:48While Okoro Julius, 20, and Onyebuchi NW Weibo, 25, were arrested in different parts of Port Harcourt, Rivers State in connection with the seizure of 8.5-kilogram skunk on Friday 10 October,
06:04Suleiman Kalalu, 46, was nabbed after 29.5 kilograms of same substance was found in his house at Bayanaceti, Jabea Town, Katsina State on Saturday 11 October.
06:18In Niger State, NDLEA officers on Wednesday 8 October arrested Yisa Daniel, 29, at Nubusa where 22,000 capsules of tramadol, 800 ampoules of pentazocene injection and 150,000 pills of EXOL-5 were seized from him.
06:38A total of 312 kilogram skunk was recovered from a bush at Olegit Camp, Igbese, Ondo State while operatives on patrol along Benin-Lagos Expressway on Thursday 9 October intercepted two suspects,
06:53Francis John, 39, and Adeyemi Taiwo, 46, in a car conveying 141.8 kilogram skunk.
07:02In Kaduna, a suspect Rufi Ahmed, 27, alias Faram Malam, was nabbed at Abuja, Kaduna Tollgate while conveying 150,000 pills of EXOL-5 from Lagos to Katsina.
07:17In like manner, commands and formations of the agency across the country continued their war against drug abuse,
07:24WADA, sensitization activities to schools, worship centers, workplaces and communities among others in the past week.
07:32These include, WADA sensitization lecture to students and staff of General Matala Muhammad College,
07:39Yola, Adamawa, Assembly of God Secondary School, Abakaliki, Abonyi, Community Girls Secondary School,
07:47Bukori, Katsina, Girls Secondary School, Nenwe, Orgu Local Government Area,
07:54Enugu, Day Secondary School, Tungan Malam, Pai Koro Local Government Area, Niger, Sacred Heart Secondary School,
08:03Kabba, Kogi, Ebenezer Model Secondary School, Anitsha, Anambra, Government Secondary School,
08:10Morakiri, Rivers, Government Junior Secondary School, Wakali Bawa, Ungogo Local Government Area,
08:17Kano, and Baptist High School, Ede, Osun State, among others.
08:24While commending the officers and men of MMIA, Makia, DOGI, Kano, Edo, Rivers, Kaduna, Katsina, Niger,
