00:00It looks like they're very close. And they are. And that's not to be over positive. That's just
00:05the truth. They are close. A lot of these runs, to be good in the run game, it takes everyone
00:11finishing, busting their ass, doing the right things. Some of these runs are close. And you
00:17feel better about the run game where a four-yard run is an eight-yard run now. And some of it is
00:24stuff on the backside. And it's getting the right angles. And look, when you're running
00:30right, your backside's your left guys. Those are your two rookies. Those are guys Jared
00:34Wilson's never played guard before. So it's learning these angles, learning where to go
00:39to the linebacker, not going to where he is, but where he's going to be. There was a few,
00:44you know, just some of the finish could have been better. And in saying that, though, the
00:49angles could have been better to start the play. They're close. Some of the duo downhill
00:55type runs, those rely so much on your double teams. I don't know what's being taught. I
01:01have what I believe if I went to go coach all the line, how I would coach it, because that's
01:05how Dante taught me. And you either did it Dante's way or you got the hell out of there. And
01:11look, there's more ways to skin a cat than one. Not that Dante, you know, is the only way
01:17to play offensive line, but I believe in it. And so I can't berate them on what they're
01:22being taught because I don't know. But just in the double teams, if you're not getting
01:27connected and you're not hip to hip and shoulder to shoulder, you're not going to
01:31create movement. You're not going to create lateral movement and you can't get to the
01:34linebackers because when you start getting split, you don't know who should come off
01:39because you're not covered up the guy. So it's close. The one thing I think is
01:45interesting. I think they're having more success running outside zone, in my opinion,
01:49that some of these downhill runs. I don't know the numbers, but, and I think that might
01:56be just because on the outside zone, you're getting on tracks and you're, you're not
02:01necessarily having to work together that much, but you're just kind of, everyone gets on the
02:07angle and runs and it kind of allows you to create some holes in the defense. So I would
02:12like to see them do some more outside zone runs, I think, moving forward and see how
02:17that looks. But I gave so much credit to the Patriots defense on making the bills one
02:23dimensional. And unfortunately you're getting that done to you right now. And thankfully
02:28your quarterback's playing his ass off, but it's putting pressure on him that, you know,
02:37eventually he's going to have an off day. And if you don't have that running game to settle
02:42things down in the game, it's going to hurt you. And I mean, I think Drake was the leading
02:46rusher yesterday and he only had 27 yards. That's not our 28 yards or something like that's
02:53not what you want to see.
