03:46With no announcement happening so far

03:49Let's begin with what's happening in the NDA

03:51Where you've got the stalemate continuing

03:54There was supposed to be an announcement today

03:55A press conference

03:56Just about an hour before that was to be taking place

03:59At 4pm

04:00There was the announcement that no one's been called off

04:03Because there are issues that are yet to be ironed out

04:06Similarly in the Mahagat Bandhan too

04:08There are issues that are still being resolved

04:11Cracks are beginning to show

04:13The NDA sealed the seat deal

04:15The numbers are set

04:17But allies are unhappy with Chirag's share

04:20Who gets which seat is still something that the NDA is working on

04:25The Mahagat Bandhan meanwhile is yet to decide even their seat formula

04:29The Congress and RJD are battling it out

04:32They're showing a united front, yes

04:34But reportedly the Congress is pushing for a lot more than the RJD is willing to give them

04:39A lot of questions doing the rounds right now

04:42But we'll decode for you on Newstruck tonight

04:46What's holding up both sides from going ahead and announcing their seat sharing formula

05:21They were supposed to announce their seat sharing deal today

05:24Didn't really happen

05:25We'll break down for you the flashpoint right now

05:28On what's really playing out

05:30First you've got the likes of Jitandram Manji and Upindra Kushwaha

05:34Unhappy with the seat share that's been given to Chirag

05:37They're saying why does he get so many more than we do

05:39And so that's one contention that's playing out right now

05:43Another flashpoint is the fact that you've got the BJP and the JDO fighting it out

05:48And this is over three to four crucial seats for allies

05:51The JDO too is objecting saying why give seats to Chirag instead let it come to us

05:56So that's another big issue

05:58There are particularly two seats

06:00Rajgir and Morwa which the JDO says we want to keep

06:04It's going at this point in the current proposed formula to Chirag Passman

06:08That's something the JDO isn't okay with

06:10But it's not just about Chirag Passman here

06:13Even the BJP and JDO have differences

06:16There's one seat the Degra seat in which you've got both these parties fighting

06:20Both of them want that particular seat

06:22Remember the numbers 101, 101 has been decided

06:25But which seat goes where

06:27That's something that's still being worked out

06:29Also the other issue is that there's a leadership crisis in Bihar

06:34There's no clear-cut leader for the BJP in Bihar

06:38And as far as the JDO goes

06:39Nitish Kumar was a man on top

06:41He is right now not steering at this point the JDO ship

06:44So the communication gap is also leading to issues

06:48Let's get you a news break also coming in on what's happening in the NDA camp

06:51And it's become all the more complicated for the NDA to figure this one out

07:03Because sources are confirming to India today

07:06That Chirag Passman is seeking a larger slice of the seat pie

07:10He wants JDO seats too

07:12And that's something that the JDO has put their foot down on

07:15Saying there's no question of giving up any of their seats

07:19And this even as the JDO has decided to go ahead and start pledging seats to candidates

07:24In clearly a symbolic message that's going across from the JDO

07:29That they will not budge and they're stubborn on their demands

07:31They've already started pledging seats to their candidates

07:34Making it very clear that any attempt to take away any of the seats that they want

07:39Will not work

07:40The deadlock therefore continues between the BJP and the JDO

07:44On the seats being allocated to the smaller allies

07:47Particularly Chirag Passman

08:36In fact, what sources are telling
