Martha Gumsley has set up a ribbon display at the clock tower in Priorslee for people who have lost their babies.
Transcript
00:00Hi, my name is Martha. I run a small community project with my husband Ben called Love from George after we lost our little boy George during pregnancy in 2022. We support lots of bereaved parents in our support groups that we do every couple of weeks in Telford.
00:17We have organised this display because we want to create a space for people that have lost a child or a baby during pregnancy or after birth or any time really and through any circumstances whether it was recently or 30 years ago we want to make a space for people to come and remember their babies.
00:37You can attach a ribbon and you can write a message or write their names or their special date on and just come and take a few moments to reflect and be within the community of people.
00:49There's so many ribbons here and I think it's really important that we take the time to talk about our babies and remember them in a special way.
00:57If you would like any support or someone to chat to about the loss of your baby or any family member's baby you can contact us through our Facebook page on Love from George or you can come to one of our support groups.
