CAN the Bills pass deep?

Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase question if the Bills can still pass the ball down the field.

00:06which was every time there'd be a deep throw, I would think,

00:10does that team just do it whenever they want to, and they just don't want to?

00:21May throwing deep all game against the Saints.

00:24I got Spencer Rattler throwing deep against Olave.

00:26And I know, if we just sit here and talk about the deep passing game, it's old hat.

00:32It's something that people have talked about a lot.

00:34I don't know if Greg Cosell, when he says he'd like to see the Bills lean into the passing game tonight,

00:37if he thinks deep passing game.

00:39But the Bills really don't have much of one outside of throwing at Kincaid and Jackson Hawes down the seam

00:46and an occasional shot here or there.

00:49To see them allow Allen to just rip the ball, it feels like it doesn't happen that much.

00:55And like you said, they don't need it that much.

00:58But I'll admit, I'm in a spot where I watch these other games and I'll see a quarterback just rip one down,

01:05you know, 35-yard completion on the butt and on the move to a receiver and think,

01:10I used to have that.

01:12And I feel like I don't have that as part of my offense anymore.

01:15The Bills like to say they can do it if they need to.

01:18And I don't know that I'm convinced.

01:20So, you know, do they have to have that to beat the Falcons tonight?

01:24Probably not.

01:25They can probably just run the ball really well and have Josh Allen make a couple of freak show plays

01:31and get out with a 34-17 win.

01:35And we can come in and say, what did you think?

01:37But I do get the growing sense, it's not just you, it's not just me,

01:42that there's a little bit of a, you want to say impatience,

01:45or just it's a side effect of wanting to see them win the whole thing is that you kind of want to be convinced

01:51every time they play and that's not really their job.

01:54So, you know, we're at this spot where I watch other deep throws or other vertical passing games

01:59and think, man, I'd love to know that the Bills do have that.

02:04Because I don't know that they do.

02:05I really don't know that they do.
