00:00Joe, a little bit of surprising news out of Indianapolis.
00:03This came out about 10 or so minutes ago,
00:06really brought to light about two minutes ago.
00:09We're doing quarterback questions here,
00:11so we're going to kind of spring one on you,
00:12but you'll be more than prepared for it.
00:16Anthony Richardson, healthy scratch today
00:19for the Indianapolis Colts.
00:21I believe that shoots up Notre Dame's Riley Leonard
00:24into the QB2 slot.
00:26Okay.
00:27What do you make of it?
00:28Something, nothing?
00:29Why would that be?
00:30Well, again, I mean,
00:31do they even want him around the organization at this point?
00:34There's something going on behind the scenes
00:35that maybe didn't warrant him backing up Daniel Jones today.
00:39I mean, that would be the only thing.
00:40I mean, I just don't see why you're going to go with Riley Leonard.
00:44Riley Leonard certainly, to me, is not an NFL quarterback.
00:47I mean, you know, he's a good quarterback at college,
00:50but as it relates to the passing attack,
00:52I can't duplicate the type of productivity
00:54that Daniel Jones has given you up until this point,
00:57but Anthony Richardson has had concerns about potentially not showcasing
01:02what it takes from a leadership perspective
01:04to lead an organization or lead an NFL football team,
01:09and maybe at this point either the team's just going to break away
01:13or maybe a trade.
01:15But if you're going to trade him, what are we looking at, Cincinnati?
01:19I mean, what team is buying into a backup quarterback right now
01:24that is more athletic than he is a passer?
01:27Here's what I would say, right?
01:29Because I think you're on it.
01:32I don't know if they have received phone calls on Richardson
01:37or if perhaps Richardson's camp has kind of behind the scenes elevated
01:44to like, get us out of here, get us out of here, get us out of here, get it.
01:48Because, look, Daniel Jones, whether I believe in him or not,
01:51has played well enough that he's not losing this job to Richardson.
01:55If you were to get injured or something, you would think AR would take over,
02:00but no one plans for something like that to happen.
02:05So trade absolutely becomes the thought process.
02:09Where?
02:10Where is the Anthony Richardson landing spot across this league right now?
02:17Cincinnati?
02:18I mean, that doesn't mesh with anything that's happening.
02:23Baltimore?
02:25Would they do it in the AFC?
02:27Lamar hamstring worse than we thought?
02:29No, I mean, listen.
02:31But if you're Indianapolis, you cannot give them AR.
02:36Yeah, you can.
02:36You're done with him.
02:37You're done with him.
02:38You're not going to give him.
02:39Why?
02:40They're done with that guy.
02:41Arizona?
02:43Is the Kyler foot situation?
02:45Okay, that could be something.
02:46I mean, I have to be honest.
02:48That Kyler situation is very fishy.
02:50He didn't have a foot.
02:51I mean, he was running all around prior to that.
02:53He got hit in the face with the football and all of a sudden had a foot injury.
02:57But I'm just thinking mobile quarterbacks that potentially have issues.
03:01Where else are we looking?
03:03Is Carolina willing to take him?
03:05I mean, Bryce Young got the victory.
03:07Just keep getting in on that draft class.
03:09I'm just saying.
03:09You know, like, the Niners, where, like, Mac Jones isn't healthy.
03:14Purdy isn't healthy.
03:16But, like, Purdy's supposed to come back next week.
03:18I also feel like maybe Shanahan's already tried the toolsy quarterback.
03:22Maybe he's not interested.
03:24I mean, what Mac Jones showcased the other night?
03:28I mean.
03:28No, I agree with you.
03:29Raiders?
03:30I don't think so.
03:32That doesn't seem like a Raiders move, even though Gino's struggling.
03:36I don't know where the move is.
03:37It's a weird one.
03:38It's a weird one.
03:39You know, I can't see it right now.
03:41I don't see it anywhere.
03:43Do you?
03:44Nothing clear and obvious jumps out.
03:47You know, it's funny, but I know you would hate it.
03:51But the Jets could give him a run.
03:53Oh, yeah.
03:53Yeah, I mean, it wouldn't hurt.
03:55But I wouldn't say, sorry, but Fields has not, like, earned getting benched in this process.
04:02Like, this isn't a Fields story.
04:04With the Giants?
04:05You know, to back up Dart?
04:06I don't know.
04:08No, no.
04:08I'm just saying.
04:09No, I know.
04:10Ship the old guys?
04:11Weird one.
