A voluminous steaming event was observed at the main crater of Taal Volcano on Friday night, Oct. 10, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
Per the agency, the activity occurred from 9:55 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. and produced a white plume that rose 2,100 meters above the crater, as recorded by the Taal Volcano Observatory (TVO) Thermal Camera. (Video courtesy of PHIVOLCS-DOST | FB)
