Timelapse footage shows a moderately explosive eruption at Mayon Volcano on Friday, Oct. 30, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
The eruption occurred 11:53 a.m., which spewed an ash plume that ascended 3 kilometers above the summit crater. The volcano has been raised to Alert Level 3. (Video courtesy of DOST-PHIVOLCS)
