A brief ash emission transpired at the summit crater of Kanlaon Volcano on Monday afternoon, Oct. 27, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
According to Phivolcs, the event took place from 1:48 p.m. to 1:52 p.m. and produced grayish plumes that rose around 150 meters above the crater before drifting westward.
