The new upgraded version of the Russian advanced trainer features radar, optical sensors, and expanded combat capability.

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and Rostec have announced that the first prototype of the Yak-130M has been completed and is ready to commence ground trials. The aircraft was built at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, operated by Yakovlev.

According to the manufacturer, the Yak-130M is a modernised version of the Yak-130 advanced trainer, developed to enhance its combat performance and adaptability in operational missions.
