00:08and its adjacent Bowling Green ever being revived after giving the go-ahead for a new housing scheme

00:14on the derelict site. The Borough Council's Planning Committee approved a planning application

00:19for 22 houses and flats at the former Old Whittington Miners' Welfare Club and its Bowling Green on

00:24Station Lane. A Chesterfield Borough Council spokesperson stated

00:29the likelihood of an alternative community facility being viable on the site is considered

00:34unlikely and not sufficient reason to justify opposing residential development of the site.

00:42A Derbyshire woman has been crowned one of the UK's most impressive female entrepreneurs

00:46by Small Business Britain. Joanne Pearce from Glossop who founded Her Handmade Hustle

00:52is being profiled among 100 inspirational female entrepreneurs across the country

00:57as part of a campaign to celebrate the multi-achievements of women running businesses

01:01in the UK today. The line-up particularly showcases trailblazing female founders who

01:07lead purpose-driven businesses alongside a roster of other responsibilities such as volunteering,

01:12mentoring and community support. And Joanne herself was called out for her success in running

01:18her own handmade stationery business, Vintage Tweed, as well as providing voluntary advice

01:22and guidance to fellow female entrepreneurs in her local community.
