00:01UNICEF has issued a stock warning about the worsening humanitarian crisis in Haiti, where
00:06violence and displacement are pushing hundreds of thousands of children to the brink of survival.
00:13We are launching today a child alert on the humanitarian situation of children in Haiti.
00:20And we don't use this term easily.
00:23Today, we have 680,000 children in displaced situations, in camps, in situations that are barely impossible to survive.

00:40that has forced 1.3 million people from their homes.
00:44And we see an increase in case of violence affecting children.
00:48All this combined with the risk of Haiti disappearing from global public opinion, global media attention
00:55and the interest and the priority of the donor community.
00:58This is why UNICEF is launching today a clear appeal to not to forget Haiti, not to forget
01:04an entire generation of children and young people.
