Philippine bet first runner-up at Miss Asia Pacific International; Brazil wins
Miss Philippines Anita Rose Gomez is proclaimed first runner-up at the Miss Asia Pacific International 2025 coronation night at the Cebu Coliseum in the early hours of Oct. 9, 2025. Brazil’s Isabela Fernandes captured the crown, succeeding Janelis Leyba of the United States. Thailand’s Bowonrat Maneerat placed second runner-up, Belgium’s Jana Janssens was named third runner-up, and the Netherlands’ Delilah Elmira Wildeboer completed the winners’ circle as fourth runner-up.

01:13I grew up below the edge of Concord,
01:16and I experienced so many challenges in my life.
01:18But those challenges, I learned to turn my struggles into my strength, and my pain into my purpose.
01:26And through that, I was able to coop up, and I was able to be the woman that I am today.
01:34Grounded, driven, and pulled apart.
01:36And I believe that, through the legacy that I will leave, that no matter what challenges you'll be through,
01:42no matter what you're beginning, if you're dedicated, and if you put your heart into doing something,
01:48you will definitely be happy.
