Paraguay president arrives in Manila

Paraguay President Santiago Peña Palacios arrived in Manila on Sunday for a two-day official visit. He was welcomed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport by Trade Secretary Cristina Roque. This is the first time a Paraguayan president has set foot in the Philippines since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1962. Palacios will meet with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Malacañang on May 11.
