Chobham Rugby Club is using England’s success in the Women’s Rugby World Cup to attract more women and girls to the sport.
England beat Canada 33-13 at Twickenham on September 27 to lift the trophy and deliver what the club called “a powerful statement about female strength, unity and possibility”.
Lauren, captain of Chobham Women, said: “The Red Roses reminded us that rugby is about courage, connection and community.
“We want women who feel that spark - whether they’ve played before or are just curious - to come and be part of something empowering."
