00:05grass now so i guess we can give it to her for free but upside down i'm so right now my boyfriend

00:11and i own a landscaping company and we just did this job for this woman where we did her front

00:15and back grass but she happened to want it done during the heat wave so the grass has gone a bit

00:21yellow but it shouldn't have so she paid the first half i was supposed to pick up the check on

00:26saturday for the second half and she had a family emergency and she couldn't after the client's

00:31mistake she found any excuse to avoid paying so then she's like oh monday uh by 2 p.m like i'll

00:38have the check so i show up and right away she starts off look at my grass i'm not paying for

00:43this of course she has the water out now i'm like but it wasn't and she looks at me arrogantly and

00:49goes i'm not gonna pay so take your grass now the grass is laid the workers are left with one choice

00:54i don't know you know it doesn't look good this and that i'm like yeah but you didn't water it

00:58you were advised on how to cater for your grass you didn't do it everything i said to try and be

01:03cooperative wasn't pleasing her so i look at my employee i'm like take up the grass we just had

01:10construction guys pass by because they're doing work right there thank you very much everybody's

01:15helping out literally have people watching now thank you this woman's case is sadly all too familiar

01:21more than 82 percent of contractors nationally don't get paid and so there's no surprise she's

01:27getting help from others almost done everybody's standing around see what's going on look she's

01:34videotaping me even though she's the one refusing to pay when i got there and i approached the door

01:42politely and i was expecting the check and uh spoke to her she came off arrogant right away you don't

01:48have an invoice you don't have this and that every time she had said something i don't have a printer

01:52like i responded accordingly i can send you it by email i can you know print it at home and bring it

01:58to you tomorrow and like nothing was pleasing her so it was going back and forth for a little while

02:03where i'm trying to find a solution i'm like we did tell you like you did need to pay today at this

02:08point it had been almost a week and a half she hadn't paid so after the whole conversation with her i was

02:13like look he told you if you don't pay you're not going to keep the product you said that's fine

02:17because you were going to pay so i'm like so what's happening right now and she looks at me

02:22arrogantly and goes i'm not going to pay so take your grass

02:25there are no excuses for this karen now as she's left with an awful looking garden

02:33well done to this landscaping couple we've already called the police so that's so fun

02:39owning a business is so fun we're just gonna take this loss take this out that's so good

02:45i'm like i just don't understand people like you didn't water your grass during a heat wave

02:50and it's like you're gonna be like well i'm not paying for this look at it look at that

02:54also it's like live so it's gonna come back like you're just being difficult on purpose
