00:00Organizations affiliated with the Solidarity Network with Cuba sent as
00:04treatment of eye surgery kits and medications to the embassy. The donation
00:08is part of a solidarity program with the Cuban people who are suffering due to
00:12the US imposed criminal economic blockade. Representatives of the
00:17organizations in attendance reiterated their support for the Cuban government
00:21during the donation delivery pointing out that contrary to what the US
00:26government will have us believe Cuba only exports medical professionals and not
00:30bombs. These contributions are a part of the humanitarian cooperation between the
00:36two nations and a part of the Mission Milagro program which is a joint project
00:42between Cuba and Venezuela that aims to provide low-income individuals with free
00:48ophthalmological surgery.
