00:08In this case, we go to Cuba, where there is a Solidarity Act underway in this moment.
00:14This is an act that is happening in the Cuban capital in Havana,
00:19as the nation is showing and participating of just one of all the acts of solidarity
00:25that are taking place today on August 30th, this Saturday,
00:30that has been marked worldwide by different demonstrations
00:34in which nations, political organizations, social movements across the globe
00:40are showing and displaying their solidarity.
00:43And, of course, Cuba being one of the leaders and the forefront of solidarity in the region
00:50is leading these efforts, all of this in the framework of the recent agreement.
00:55of the United States against Venezuela, in particular,
01:00targeting its constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro,
01:03but also the region as a whole, but also the region as a whole,
01:08as, of course, the threats that have been represented
01:14by the military deployment of the United States in the Caribbean Sea
01:20are threatening what has been declared by its own sovereign state as a zone of peace.
01:26So we're looking at live images at this moment from this act of friendship, of solidarity.
01:33Cuba has been saying it from the beginning.
01:35It is standing together with Venezuela in the face of this recent aggressions
01:41and, of course, being one of the most important actors in the region
01:45in terms of solidarity, in terms of cooperation.
01:48This is just one of the events that is marking this day of solidarity
01:53that is having events worldwide.
01:56and we see one very important one in the Caribbean in Cuba.
