00:00Let's talk about sexuality and labels.
00:03You've talked about evolving from gay to bi to pansexual and then just beyond labels.
00:09Yeah.
00:09Do you think that performers in the adult industry are generally ahead of society in
00:15breaking down sexual identity boxes?
00:18Well, you know what we are?
00:19We're open.
00:21Like, we're already stigmatized.
00:22We're already here.
00:24So what we're not going to do that a lot of society does is, like, be gay and hide it.
00:29You know what I mean?
00:30Or be whatever we are and hide it.
00:32We're in such a beautiful, welcoming community that I think we're in such a safe space to
00:37truly be who we are that we embrace it.
00:40And so in that way, we are ahead of society.
00:43I think there are ridiculous numbers of closeted people, whether they're closeted by their religion
00:49or feel shame or worry about their communities and what their communities will think.
00:54And so, you know, maybe a bisexual, pansexual, queer woman would say, well, you know what?
01:00I like guys.
01:01This is safe in my religion.
01:02This is safe in my household.
01:03This is safe in my community.
01:05I'm just going to be in a straight presenting relationship and I'm not going to worry about
01:08it too much.
01:09You know, I think there's a huge number of those humans.
01:12That is, like, something that I always say, you know, when people ask me, what's your favorite
01:17thing about the adult industry?
01:18And I always say the people, and I know you heard it in that sizzle trailer.
01:22Um, I just, because we are such, I think, a stigmatized industry and because the people
01:31in it are, present themselves in such a vulnerable light, right?
01:34Like, I mean, you're showing everything.
01:36It does strip away that pretense and it's like, there's nothing left to hide.
01:40Like, when you're doing porn, like, you're just like, you're who you are.
01:45And I do feel like there is a real acceptance in the industry, especially now.
01:51Like, it used to be a lot more judgmental.
01:5215 years ago, not as much.
01:53Like, the women were allowed to be as free as we wanted.
01:55But, you know, even when I did my first trans scene, um, my agent, which was not unpopular
02:03at the time, warned me, you know, with all respect, that it might ruin my career.
02:09So there was a lot of that messaging going around.
02:11And I was like, well, then I really definitely want to do it because I have a name.
02:15It's not going to ruin my career.
02:16And I want to show people, you know, that even, you know, in the non, what would maybe
02:21fetish or like in the super duper mainstream community, you can absolutely do whatever
02:26you want and have a illustrious career.
02:28Yeah.
02:29I mean, we used to see that a lot.
02:31Um, like one very specific example was Christian triple X, who does a lot of trans stuff.
02:37And when we used to shoot him back in the day when I was working for my mom, we loved
02:41working with Christian.
02:41He was solid.
02:42He was always a really good performer.
02:44And I can't tell you how many girls would cancel because they would like learn that he
02:50did trans scenes.
02:51Crossover performance.
02:52Thank God is dying.
02:54Like, and, and they would, it happened so frequently.
02:57Yeah.
02:58Which is absurd because like, even, uh, in this like little group that I'm in that I had,
03:04you know, there's newer performers and older performers and these things pop up, you know,
03:08testing concerns, even crossover concerns pop up and people have a lot of incorrect ideas.
03:16But even if all their ideas were correct, you don't know what I'm doing in my private life.
03:20Yeah.
03:21And if you're fucking me, you're fucking them because I fuck everyone.
03:25So like, it doesn't, a test is a test is a test is a test.
03:29And if you want another layer of protection, you could get on prep or one of its generics.
03:33You know, there are a lot of choices to keep yourself safe.
03:36But if you're in the sex industry, even if you only did girl, girl, which some people
03:40are like, oh, that's the safest.
03:43Well, I'm a girl and you're fucking me.
03:45And I fuck all of the performers.
03:48And even though I'm super chill in my private life, a lot of people are absolutely not chill.
03:52So you don't know, even if someone is a, you know, this man, you've only seen him on film
03:59with women, he could be totally gay.
04:01He could be doing anything.
04:02And like, that's why it's irrelevant and ridiculous to have the stereotypes.
04:07They're hate based and they're fear based and they're not test based and they're not
04:11science based and they're not reality based.
04:13And it's really time for that shit to die.
