00:07So I was really hoping that Smile Outlet would be the final stop in trying to find some place to fix this malocclusion that I've got going on.
00:16But unfortunately they sent me the email about six days after seeing me and said that they only do mild to moderate cases and my case was too comprehensive.
00:25So I came to Pacific Fair last week and just happened to see Proud Smile.
00:31And I just walked in there and I asked them about, you know, do they treat malocclusion?
00:36And yes, of course, sure enough, they do. And their price points may be a little bit more friendly when it comes to the Invisalign.
00:42So I've come here today for an appointment and I've just had PRP, which explains my bright red tomato face.

01:13It's been quite a journey. I, um, oh yes. So I, I was told to, or referred to go to Smile Outlet.
01:31Well actually that's not the first place I went to. I went to Clear Smiles first. I was referred there.
01:36Yes, yes. And the, I cried. Why? The, um, the, the price was so much. Oh, okay.
01:44And it was really expensive. Okay. And, um, so then, um, Hubby suggested, because he takes our daughter to Teethon Ferry.
01:52Yes. Dr. David Hill. Yes. He was awesome. He referred me to, um, Smile Outlet because, yeah, you probably know Smile Outlet.
01:59They don't, they didn't take me on because apparently they only take mild to moderate cases.
02:06Okay. And they said mine was a bit too comprehensive for them. Okay.
02:10So then I did not know where to go. Okay. And believe it or not, I was here at Pacific Fair last week to see a doctor at the clinic next door.
02:18Yeah. And I just saw Proud Smile and I just walked in. Yeah. And I just asked to make an appointment and so that's why I'm here.

03:08Um, I want to be able to chew properly, basically, because at the moment when I'm chewing, I'm mainly putting the weight on these things.

03:24But, yeah, I've been chewing more on the back just here, right here, because I've got that, it doesn't close up properly.
03:30So, my goal, to be 100% honest, isn't a perfect smile, it's health. I really want to be able to chew my food more effectively.

05:51comfortable referring you to our principal dentist okay he does design as well okay and he's more
05:58experienced than me okay so uh i'll just refer you over to him and then he'll take you on in terms of
06:04which um package you fall under you're well aware about invisalign how it works yeah different price
06:12points exactly so you are between moderate and comprehensive uh i can give you a rough estimate
06:21as well so moderate is about 6 500 and uh comprehensive is i want to say 7 500 yeah
06:29okay in that range okay they do come with some benefits so uh i know that moderate has up to
06:37two years of refinements well all right okay comprehensive has up to five years from memory
06:43okay you just need to double check on that oh right what does that mean um ongoing treatment so
06:48refinement exactly so you just scan photos and see if we need to get any more aligners okay yeah yeah
06:54just to correct a few things and it's part of the package so there's no extra costs to that stuff
06:59um but yeah initially what we need to do is just take some scans and photos of your feet
07:04yeah and uh put it into the infusional software and see which package you do for but it is manageable
07:10only all i can see we do have a bit of crossbites yeah uh our fight is off there yeah uh we do need to
07:18widen the arch a little bit yeah i've been told that yeah yeah so yeah that's all things that can be

08:21there so how you eat and because right now when you do bite you do have an open bite in the front there
08:28so you're not having a proper um occlusion there for you to eat normally
08:34oh is that what's called malocclusion it's incorrect occlusion yeah so occlusion means closing the gap
08:41or closing your teeth yeah occlusion means your bite i didn't yeah but that makes sense yes quality

09:53that sounds like um it's good and they're also open some saturdays as well so that's going to make
09:58it at times easier to juggle with spencer and um you know obviously when hubby's home from work but
