00:00Okay, so one of the bigger upsets of the season, without a doubt, is UCLA having an awful year, firing their coach, and then beating Penn State 42-37.
00:13And this comes a week after. Penn State also had a debilitating loss, so at this point, you would guess that Penn State's chances of advancing to the college football playoff are very slim at this point.
00:24And Drew Aller, who was a Heisman Trophy candidate at the beginning of the season, even though he was okay, that's pretty much out the window, too.
00:32What do you make of what's going on in Happy Valley?
00:34Yeah, I didn't have Jerry Neuheisel being carried off the field like five days after being hired on my bingo card for last weekend, let alone UCLA winning the game.
00:45Let alone UCLA winning the game after repeatedly letting Penn State back in after building a 20-point lead after halftime.
00:53I think it's a devastating loss for Penn State in terms of the playoff race.
00:58Now, at minimum, they've got to go 10-2 and sweep Ohio State and Indiana, and that still might not be enough when you look at their non-conference schedule and this loss.
01:09Like, you're not putting a 10-2 Penn State team in over a 10-2 Notre Dame, who lost to Texas A&M and Miami.
01:16So, it is a troubled spot. It's going to lead to a lot of frustration.
01:20I don't think James Franklin loses his job, but it's going to cast some serious doubts about the overall tenure of the program moving forward.
