00:00Little Sunday Night Football, you excited for this one?
00:02Yeah, Bills-Patriots, why not?
00:03Divisional matchup.
00:05And think about, Patriots covered both games last year.
00:09They beat them out right now, week 18.
00:12Yeah.
00:12But the one game that happened, I think week 13 or 14,
00:17was an 11.5 point spread, and they won 24-21.
00:20Well, they got an opportunity to cover and potentially a loss
00:23because it's a big number here, Joe.
00:24Between 7.5 and 8.5, depending on where you are looking for this one.
00:29And Buffalo, one of 2-4-0 teams.
00:31Again, it's all in the eye of the beholder with this stuff.
00:35Has Buffalo looked good?
00:36Yes.
00:37Would I power rank Buffalo as one of the five best teams in football?
00:41With no hesitation.
00:43But Buffalo, winning by margin, well, sure.
00:48Yes, because they beat the Saints and the Dolphins and the Jets.
00:52They have won their last two games, Joe, each by double digits,
00:56neither in a cover.
00:58However, it's the opposite of the Eagles.
01:00They're winning big, but the strength of schedule leaves a lot to be desired here.
01:04You see those odds to win the AFC East.
01:07I would be stunned if Buffalo didn't win it.
01:09But those numbers will change massively if New England could pull off an upset.
01:15Do you think they can?
01:17They would need to play a perfect game.
01:19I think Buffalo, from a matchup perspective of everybody in the East,
01:25just matches up against everybody.
01:30Buffalo would have to play their C game or D game in this matchup,
01:35I believe, for New England to catch them.
01:37Now, when New England played them last year, I believe the week before,
01:43Buffalo, and you could tell me, had a very big game the week before.
01:47I could be wrong, but I thought it was a potential letdown spot for the Bills.
01:51I remember taking the Patriots plus the 11 and a half that weekend
01:55and it went right down to the wire.
01:56So, again, I think if they played these.
01:59Yeah, Detroit.
02:00Right.
02:00So, they had a big game and they won that matchup on the road
02:03and he had a huge performance.
02:05Yeah.
02:05And then they come back home.
02:06Ah, it's the Patriots.
02:07We always beat the Patriots.
02:08They got pushed into the fourth quarter and they pulled it out,
02:11but they didn't cover.
02:13If they played 100 times, I really think Buffalo would win 98 of them.
02:19I mean, the only two.
02:21I mean, that's just the way I look at Buffalo matching up against Drake May
02:25and this offense that we saw burst last week, you know, in Drake May.
02:30Is that consistency going to come on the road in a tough environment?
02:36I like the total more than I like anything else.
02:38What do you like with the total?
02:39Over.
02:39Yeah?
02:40I just feel we got points in New England last week.
02:45Buffalo, I mean, Buffalo's good for at least 30.
02:49I really believe that.
02:50So, Buffalo at home basically is auto 30.
02:53Auto 30.
02:54It's nonstop.
02:55No matter who they play, it's auto 30.
02:5810 of the last 11.
02:59They shouldn't have had 30 last week, but McDermott,
03:01I don't know if he likes to getting to 30.
03:03He kicked a field goal when he should have went for it on a fourth down.
03:06It didn't really matter to the football game.
03:08It was a bad decision.
03:09It cost me.
03:10I had an under in the game.
03:11It is 48 and a half.
03:12It is what it is.
03:13They've won 14 straight at home.
03:15I believe the average margin of victory I did it last week was 15.3 points per game.
03:20So, this game to me, though, I think, interestingly, is far more about New England than Buffalo.
03:27Okay.
03:28Because I think Buffalo has been playing down a little bit to competition, right?
03:32I think there's some of that.
03:33Buffalo, by the way, Joe, home every week.
03:37It's a little weird.
03:38Fourth home game in five weeks.
03:41A little weird.
03:41Which means back end is going to be difficult.
03:44A hundred percent, right?
03:45You know, they have the extra home game this year because of the uneven games that happens.
03:49But, so, I say it's more about New England.
03:53Both sides of the ball.
03:55Defensively, Christian Gonzalez is back.
03:57Milton Williams is questionable.
03:59Can you actually not let them get to 30?
04:01But also, how good is Drake May?
04:05We think about this rookie or this class now in their sophomore seasons, right?
04:09It was all about Kayla Williams.
04:11Then it was all about Jaden Daniels.
04:14Panics, we've talked about.
04:15McCarthy, we've talked about.
04:17Drake May is in this interesting middle, right?
04:20Where he was the clear third man in the group, but wasn't, you know, playoff football.
04:25Wasn't stealing jobs.
04:26Different things.
04:27Well, Drake May, over the last three weeks, Joe, has been, I mean, close to flawless.
04:32Despite, you know, a loss actually being in there.
04:35Not great opponents.
04:36100% the case.
04:37But his passer rating is above 125.
04:39He's completing almost 80% of his passes.
04:42He's throwing for over 230 yards.
04:459.1 yards per attempt.
04:47Multiple passing touchdowns in each one of those games.
04:52You didn't love Drake May coming out of college.
04:54I liked him more than you.
04:57I think it's on the board that Drake May can be an elite quarterback in this league.
05:02And if he is, they cover this number at minimum.
05:05He's doing that.
05:10That's right.
05:11That's right.
