00:00and this didn't look the way the Eagles game right this was a game that New England scored
00:08first New England had a halftime lead New England had a double digit lead and New England walked it
00:15not walked it off but basically walked it off with a late field goal I'm not saying this is a game
00:21where Buffalo doesn't think they're the better team but it wasn't on display here in this matchup
00:27and here's my thing with Buffalo Super Bowl favorites as they oft find themselves during
00:35this Josh Allen run you know this is supposed to be their year well they were gift wrapped a delightful
00:43start to this season we talked about this you and I on Sunday four of their first five games at home
00:49the opponents that they've played Baltimore a different team at the time but it's not like
00:56that's aged incredibly the Jets winless the Dolphins their only win is the Jets the Saints
01:04and this loss to the Patriots Joe I mean we look here you know strength of victory Buffalo's up
01:13a 0.150 their strength of schedule is one of the very worst in the league if not the dead worst in
01:21the league so at four and one am I supposed to be impressed with what I've seen from the Buffalo
01:26Bills no but what team impresses you I mean that's the thing I mean we could take yeah but there's only
01:30one team that's a Super Bowl favorite by two dollars and it's them so they should I not I should be
01:37impressed shouldn't I you should be but I again are you impressed no I'll just say this again money wise
01:44Buffalo and maybe the Chiefs would garner right now in week number five where where I put my money but
01:53I think if we look at the AFC East the New England Patriots now are the team that matches up well with
01:59Buffalo because last year was no aberration we talk about the week 18 or week 17 victory right where
02:06they rested all the starters they covered that game New England and then they cover the 11 and a half
02:11point spread earlier in the year when the Bills came off the monumental win against Detroit and
02:16they were 11 and a half point dogs and they lose 24 21 they come back this year in a primetime
02:21environment they're seven and a half point underdogs defense shuts down Josh Allen and James Cook and
02:27Drake May is now coming into his own and Stefan Diggs their former player abuses them with 12 targets
02:3412 receptions for a buck 46 I mean they are now a legitimate playoff contender so
02:40you know am I putting a lot of weight into Buffalo because they lost no they're still one
02:46of the best teams in the AFC maybe the home field tarnishes a little bit because they won 14 straight
02:52and now they lost right but Joe so again look right like we but if the playoffs started tomorrow
02:58okay and Josh Allen and the Bills got a two seed yeah you would still think they have a legitimate
03:04shot to make a an AFC championship run which but my point my point is which team after five weeks are
03:12you go you know what there are no doubt about a team is it Denver just because well they beat in
03:17Philly no is it there's some like no doubt about it making the playoff teams to which Buffalo is one
03:23of them right but what you're describing is not the way they are priced in the market let's they've
03:30covered one game on the opening number okay they opened as one and a half point favorites against
03:35Baltimore right against the Jets right so they're not beating expect they're four and one they're not
03:41beating expectations they've played two teams that look like they have playoff aspirations in Baltimore
03:48and it took a mammoth comeback to save that game at home and New England whose postseason hopes were
03:56flipped because they beat Buffalo at home what what's the what is their great performance well
04:02I think the Jets are the only winless team in the league and that's the only team they covered
04:05but you still believe in Josh Allen
