Report: Taiwan Foreign Minister Made Undisclosed Trip to the Netherlands

Taiwan-based media outlet Domino Theory says Taiwan's foreign minister Lin Chia-lung visited the Netherlands in September while on a trip to Europe. While Taiwan's foreign ministry announced his other destinations of the Czech Republic, Italy and Austria, they kept his visit to the Netherlands under wraps.

00:11Ling was on a trip to Europe, where he officially visited the Czech Republic, Italy and Austria.

00:17But a statement published online by the Dutch government reveals that Ling was in the Netherlands

00:21from September 13th to 15th. It said the government would not interact with them because of its

00:26one-China policy. Domino Theory has reported that Ling visited Giant Bicycles, a Taiwanese

00:31company, while in the Netherlands. Taiwan's foreign ministry has declined to comment on the trip.
