00:00I'm still terrified.

00:01I'm scared of what my face is going to look like.

00:03I have been waiting for this moment for over a decade.

00:06I'm getting double jaw surgery.

00:08I have an underbite.

00:09This is what it looks like.

00:10It hurts so much to talk.

00:13I am literally losing my life every time I speak.

00:16I am currently eight days full shot.

00:23I knew it was hard, but like this level of pain,

00:27I couldn't never have anticipated.

00:31The battle that this type of surgery brought her

00:33lasted far longer than just the operation.

00:35I have barely eaten anything for the whole chest.

00:40I'm feeling pretty weak every day and like tired.

00:47I barely had an underbite.

00:49And as I've gotten older, my underbite got worse.

00:51I had my wisdom teeth taken out to prep me for jaw surgery.

00:54I've had my upper canines taken out to prep me for jaw surgery.

00:58Whenever you have a severe underbite for your entire life,

01:00your teeth are not ready for jaw surgery.

01:02After a little time to heal, she looks unrecognizable.

01:05I got some rubber bands off of my teeth yesterday.

01:09So we can see a lot more.

01:14You can see it a lot better.

01:16My smile.

01:17I never had a big smile before.

01:20And I always wanted a bigger smile.

01:22These types of surgery transform more than just people's bone structure.

01:28They transform lives.

01:29And I'm feeling pretty good today.

01:31There were so many people checking on me.

01:35And thank you guys so much.

01:37I'm feeling a lot better.

01:38I've got four more weeks until I can eat again.

01:44Soft foods, whatever.

01:46So I'm feeling pretty good at least.

01:48Perfect.

01:49Look at my scar.

01:50It's been better.

01:53And I feel good.

01:55People warned her about the surgery, but the results make it all worthwhile.

02:00Jaw surgery in general is absolutely insane.

02:04I've been going through quite a lot of life changes since I got my jaw surgery.

02:09Um, so yeah, let's just dive right into that.

02:12Double jaw surgery and genioplasty, which was a chin reduction, slide in genioplasty, I believe.

02:17Uh, they slid back.

02:19So I don't look like Natalie Nunn anymore.

02:21I had a three-piece reflux, which is where they cut here and here.

02:26And this is by itself.

02:27And then these two portions back there by itself.

02:30Uh, and they did that so they could widen my smile.

02:32Uh, they cut the entire up here of my mouth.

02:36You can see all the scar tissue.

02:38A genioplasty is an intense surgery, but most can resume their lives after two to four weeks.

02:43I was bandaged up with rubber bands for eight weeks.

02:47And I had a splint in the roof of my mouth.

02:49So I did not eat anything but liquids for that amount of time.

02:52So yeah, you guys, a lot has been going on.

02:54I do look like two to three people.

02:56It is not really fun.
