00:00On the play where some are saying that Eaton should have scored, Alex.
00:04Some very smart people.
00:05Alex Cora?
00:06That's their opinion.
00:08I think it's easy from up there to say that he could have scored.
00:14They're not down there with us.
00:16That's right.
00:17Yeah.
00:17They are not.
00:20How about Jaron Durant dropping that ball and left?
00:23I didn't have a good angle, but if you ask him,
00:25I saw the replay afterwards, he just missed it.
00:28Yeah, he misjudged it.
00:31He's not a good left fielder, and he missed it.
00:32Yeah, he admits it.
00:34He should have made that play.
00:35Durant owned it.
00:36He said, I wear this one.
00:38So now we have Game 3 tonight, and Connelly Early,
00:41who is not even a full-time starter at AA when the season started.
00:45He's ready.
00:46His boys throughout, very calm.
00:49Obviously, he's going to be loud here.
00:51Two rookies, Game 3, wildcard Yankees, Red Sox.
00:54Imagine that.
00:55So it should be a fun night.
00:56Red Sox have a bullpen advantage.
00:58In this game tonight.
00:59And actually, it's very fortunate, looking back on it now,
01:03that the Red Sox lost this game,
01:05or that the Yankees won this game in the eighth inning instead of the ninth.
01:10If the game is tied going to the ninth inning,
01:13Cora goes to Chapman, he pitches the ninth inning,
01:16and he's probably not available this evening.
01:18However, because Chapman didn't pitch, he is available tonight.
01:22And the Sox, because they didn't have anyone really need to relieve the big guy in Game 1,
01:29they pretty much have everyone except Whitlock available this evening.
01:32Yeah, but if Chapman would have pitched, they would have been moving on.
01:38Well, my point is, if the Yankees don't score in the eighth inning, the game is tied.
01:42Right.
01:43Chapman would have come on and pitched a ninth.
01:44Ah, okay.
01:45And so maybe the game goes extra innings,
01:48and you wouldn't have had Chapman for this evening.
01:51The Yankees pitched Cruz, Williams, and Bednar both of the first two games,
01:57and all three guys had double-digit pitches in both of their outings.
02:02And none of those three guys pitched three games in a row during the season.
02:06So the Yankees and Boone are going to be without, I would bet, three of their key relievers.
02:13Bednar is good with pitch.
02:14He'd close again.
02:15He was too effective last night.
02:17Maybe so, but, again, I don't know how effective he's going to be.
02:20Again, he didn't pitch three games in a row at all this season.
02:23Yeah, but that's what you do in the regular season.
02:25That's not what you do in the postseason.
02:26I don't know if it's because it's load management not to get hurt.
02:30I don't know if it's based on his effectiveness in the regular season.
02:33Okay.
02:33Like, I think that you can come in and you can get, you can relieve twice one inning.
02:40But I'll tell you this, is that I would debate who's in better shape with their bullpen
02:44because Whitlock is such an important piece of this bullpen,
02:47and there's no way he pitches tonight.
02:48No.
