00:00Goo, I love you. You're like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get with Goo.
00:05Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:10Alrighty, it's crossover time, which means Dan Dibley and Mark Willett are in the house.
00:15And man, I'll just quick run it down and one of you guys can jump in.
00:20San Francisco 49ers rule out Brock Purdy, Ricky Pearsall, Jawan Jennings, Jordan Watkins for tomorrow's game.
00:27Jonathan Kaminga signed, sealed, and delivered.
00:30Dunleavy talked to the media just moments ago.
00:33And then, of course, Buster Posey talked about the Bob Melvin firing
00:37and seemed to indicate Bochy was not really in the plans moving forward as a manager.
00:44Welcome, guys.
00:45He more than seemed to indicate Bruce Bochy will not be coming back.
00:51Willett was there today.
00:52Oh, he was out there.
00:53I was hoping that we would have some talk about that.
00:56I didn't hear a question, Will.
00:57Yeah, I asked a question.
00:58Let's go to Mark in the back.
01:00Actually, I wanted to all of my brothers and sisters who are in the room,
01:05I raised my hand at a certain point because I'm like,
01:08are we going to go nine questions in before someone asks about Bochy?
01:12Nine Lubman questions?
01:13And so finally, I looked at him.
01:15Oh, Lubman has to eat.
01:16Lubman's awesome.
01:17Finally raised my hand to Chiz so people out there know this is the PR director for the Giants.
01:22I'm like, give me the mic.
01:23And then he's like, I got you.
01:25But then it has to go around the room a little bit.
01:28Tim Calcami had the mic right before me, and he finally asked it.
01:32So then I'm like, I'm going to wave it off.
01:34Like, hello?
01:35That's the question we all want asked.
01:37So TK finally got to it.
01:40And that was my dream for the Giants.
01:42But it was probably the only definitive thing that Buster or Zach said today,
01:47which was that Bruce Bochy will not be the manager.
01:50So now I've shifted to, and you guys give me some names if you can.
01:54I want the Giants to get their version of a Steven vote.
01:58Now I wanted Bruce the Jedi and what happened.
02:01I get to.
02:02Give me a name.
02:04Is anything out there like a guy like, you know, play the game, young, vibrant?
02:09Yeah, there's tons of those guys.
02:10And I think, and maybe we can get an odds maker.
02:13Maybe it's Jimmy Shapiro, Mark, who is the offshore guy who sends us all emails.
02:18What are the odds on the hire being a catcher versus being a non-catcher?
02:23I like that.
02:23And I think him being a catcher, the next manager, is a huge favorite
02:27because most of the managers, or not most, but a lot of them are catchers.
02:31Buster was a catcher.
02:32Boach, Bob Melvin, Steven Vogt, all the names we throw out.
02:35So if you're looking for next manager, you start with younger catchers,
02:39and you start to move from there, I think.
02:41Like, Hundley's out there, right?
02:45Mike Matheny is the guy who's managed.
02:48Hundley could definitely be a candidate.
02:49Yeah, and he was working under Boach.
02:52Now how about Ron Wotus, just the guy that's been around?
02:54I think if you were going to hire Ron Wotus, you would probably hire Bruce Boach.
02:58Wow.
02:59Listen, in the press conference, you can't set yourself up for age discrimination,
03:05but I very much got the sense when Buster was answering that.
03:08I don't think they want to hire somebody.
03:10But there's a role for him.
03:11If he wants.
03:13I mean, like, Bruce Boach is always going to be welcome inside Oracle Park.
03:18But, yeah, I don't think they want to hire someone who's 70.
03:21And that's fair, isn't it?
03:24You know what I mean?
03:24You want to fire somebody who's 70.
03:27Well, and I did the dive yesterday.
03:29The oldest manager ever.
03:30Apparently not, Dee.
03:31Connie Mack.
03:3286 in his final year.
03:34And just a glance at it.
03:35About Casey Stengel with a Mets.
03:3786.
03:3786.
03:38And then he left to be president of the United States.
03:41He's been waiting on that.
03:42They went on a 13-game road trip in five cities.
03:46All buses for sure.
03:47And the dude's 86.
03:48That's incredible.
03:49Pull over.
03:50I got to use the restaurant.
03:51Where are my dentures at?
03:53You look around.
03:54Connie Mack.
03:55President.
03:56Whatever.
03:56My dad is turning 83 next month.
03:59That's beautiful.
04:00I'm like, it's beautiful, yes.
04:02But at the same time, I'm like, how are y'all doing anything at that age?
04:07Why do you want to?
04:08Dude.
04:08It's bananas.
04:10I thought Jack McKeon, I thought he was up there with 86.
04:13Yeah, he was 80 when he came back.
04:15Okay.
04:15Yeah, he was 80 in his last year.
04:17My pop's like, I got a crossword puzzle done today.
04:20That's it.
04:21And I ate.
04:22Now we're going back to that.
04:23You got a scooter going to the mound to make the fish and say.
04:26Seriously.
04:26What the fuck is 80?
04:28Whoa.
04:28I don't want to be thinking about whether I need to pull the lefty when I'm 83.
04:33Like, sit down.
04:34Hey, sit down.
04:34You sleep or you're up.
04:35Holy crap.
04:36It's the four minute.
04:37It's unbelievable.
04:39We got something for you two.
04:40They're far away.
04:41All right, switch this real quick.
04:42It was announced Brock Curtis is not quarterbacking tomorrow.
04:45We had the great Ross Tucker on.
04:47And he said this to Stine and got me to thinking.
04:50And I can't wait to hear you two.
04:52Brock playing last week and now Hurt not playing this week.
04:56Here we go.
04:57And you might have heard it.
04:59It's a bad look for the Niners.
05:01You guys say what to that?
05:02What if they would have won?
05:04Is it still a bad look for the Niners?
05:05He's over there.
05:06I'm just asking.
05:07I'm asking, like, the room.
05:09And I don't really understand the notion.
05:11So it was the result.
05:12No.
05:13For me, it was he was healthy enough to play.
05:16He played.
05:16And so that's the way that went.
05:18And he got hurt.
05:20Juwan Jennings was also hurt.
05:21And he also got hurt.
05:22So should they not have played him?
05:25Well, no.
05:25He had a different injury.
05:26And it's football.
05:27And Ricky Pearsall was also hurt.
05:29And he got hurt again.
05:30And he got hurt again.
05:31And now he's going to miss again.
05:32Right.
05:32So it's maybe more than a game.
05:34And it's football.
05:35And, you know, if your quarterback is healthy enough to play, he plays.
05:39I mean, for me, it's just that simple.
05:41I thought, and I say this with full respect, I thought you guys were a little unfair of
05:45the 49ers today.
05:46I really, I don't understand how.
05:49I don't know how you can define it this way.
05:52It's a little, just a little too A to B for me in terms of taking the unknown out of it.
05:59Which is Mack.
06:00Well, but Mack was more hurt.
06:02I believe that.
06:03Mack was more hurt.
06:04But let's just keep it about your franchise quarterback for a second.
06:08Just because something either gets hurt or even re-injured in a football game doesn't
06:16definitively say anything about where you were before the game started.
06:20If he practices, quite frankly, for almost two weeks, pain-free, you play.
06:29Sure, anything could get re-injured at any time.
06:32And I don't believe that that means it's definitive that you rushed him back.
06:38We are, I argued that side.
06:40I just, like, I liked it, Stiney, when you sort of adjust the verbiage to be like, the
06:47worst result happened.
06:49The worst scenario played out.
06:52But I do, I just, and again, this is kind of how I approach injuries.
06:56I have the hardest time throwing our opinion in when we don't know what the bodies feel
07:01like, and we're not doctors, and I don't think the doctors are mean or stupid, or, and I
07:06don't think that they're flippant, and all of that.
07:09Like, you had a game.
07:11He felt good.
07:12He played.
07:14Ah!
07:15And he was already, don't say he got hurt again.
07:19That's what I'm trying to argue with Stiney.
07:20He was dealing with something coming in.
07:23Took two weeks off and said he was ready.
07:24So, was he healthy on Sunday, or not?
07:28What is that?
07:29Apparently so.
07:29He was able to go.
07:31Okay.
07:31So, clearly he was more, he's more healthy, he was more healthy Sunday than he is today.
07:36Yeah.
07:37Right?
07:37Okay.
07:38Well, then something happened in the game, which set him back in terms of the injury.
07:42Or it's just a quick turnaround, Stiney, and he's like, you know what?
07:46I ain't got my normal week to get ready.
07:49Right, but if it felt the exact same that it felt Saturday, then he'd probably play tomorrow.
07:55Like, it's just, it's an inexact sign.
07:57Exactly.
07:58It's always going to be.
07:58Because I don't know what it is.
07:59So, I just, I don't like saying that A to B.
08:03Like, you played, therefore, bad decision.
08:05It's like, look, there's always going to be a risk, and I'm a big believer in, like, fight through stuff.
08:11Fight through stuff, man.
08:12It's football.
08:12Who's healthy?
08:13Yeah.
08:14Honestly.
08:14Like, okay, sure, you got a game four days later.
08:17That's going to make it tough.
08:19But, you know, Dibs is right.
08:20I don't think this question even gets asked if they're 4-0.
08:23And I'll say this to all the people out there.
08:25I love you, and I love you guys.
08:27But in our world as fans or reporters or radio hosts, oh, the way to do it is, obviously, division games mean more.
08:37Sit out, and you can, you know, sit out against Jacksonville, and you play the Rams, because that game's way more.
08:44But they're telling you that's not how we look at it.
08:48What if the 49ers simply chose, because you use this phrase all the time, why didn't the 49ers protect the player from himself?
08:55I believe because the guy that was supposed to do that in Mack Jones was dealing with something to where he couldn't go.
09:01So that's just my two cents.
09:03I think that's why they signed off on Brock Owen.
09:06I just don't think you can protect football players.
09:08Well, I don't either.
09:10So it can't be a bad look.
09:12I thought when Brock said that, I go, huh?
09:14I mean, I guess it can be.
09:15That's to the eye of the beholder.
09:18I don't think it's a bad look.
09:19I think a football player tried to fight through.
09:22It's now hurting four days later.
09:23He's going to miss another game.
09:25It sucks.
09:26The 49ers are dealing with this all over the place.
09:28They've got a skeleton crew going to Thursday for a really, really hard game.
09:32And so now they're a massive underdog, and it stinks.
09:36But it's a little too much of a cherry pick for me to keep doing the rearview mirror thing,
09:45which is somebody's in pain, and so now that means that it was a wrong decision.
09:51You've got to put your best foot forward every time you've got a game on the schedule.
09:55And by the way, sitting out guarantees nothing also.
09:58And that's where we're going.
09:59It guarantees nothing.
10:00And let's hope, though, that this toe doesn't follow it.
10:03Here's the bottom line.
10:05As Gu would say, though, when, what's his name, Pelissero, 2-5, who came out with a 2-5?
10:12Rappaport.
10:12Rappaport comes out with a 2-5, and I'm like, I don't, that doesn't really mean anything to me, whatever.
10:19It's a big gap.
10:19And it is a big gap, but at that time, we're talking about, boy, if it's 2-5, how careful do you want to be?
10:28Blah, blah, blah.
10:28And I'm just saying, now there was that report out there that people subscribed to, and guess what?
10:34He came back after two weeks, but he also mentioned five.
10:39So did they rush him back too soon?
10:42You can believe that they didn't, but how do we determine it?
10:44How does anybody know?
10:46I mean, I'm saying you, but what I'm saying is the very high point of the conjecture of it, to me, is where it starts to be ridiculous, because not a person, Pelissero, Rappaport, Steinmetz, Willard, Guru Dibley, none of us have seen Brock Purdy's feet.
11:02Now, I've seen Love Neal's feet, sadly, but I've never seen Brock Purdy's toe, and I'm not a doctor.
11:08So for me, I defer to the people who have seen it, and the guy who actually is the possessor of the toe.
11:15And so, yeah, 2-5 from Rappaport, great.
11:17That's a nice wide range, and it turned out he was right.
11:20It was 2-5, but with an injury like that, there's no cookie-cutter, this is most likely what it's going to be.
11:27Well, and there's also, like, no matter what, no matter how much of an expert or doctor you are, like, we've all experienced this if you've played sports at any level, where you're like, it feels great.
11:39We're good.
11:39Hello.
11:40We're good, coach.
11:41It feels great, and then you go play at game speed.
11:44And it doesn't feel great anymore, but how the hell are you supposed to know that?
11:47But how naive are we to be, football fans, to think these guys are 100%?
11:54They never are.
11:54You know how much work our people, Tom Brady's defenses, he's carved up, Montana, all the ones banged up.
12:02Like, we're acting like you've got to be 100% to go out there, and I think that's false.
12:07You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM, and HD1 San Francisco, and Odyssey Sports Station.
12:13Always live on the free Odyssey app, and now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
12:17Like, I have no interest in saying they made a mistake.
12:22But we're looking for blame, then.
12:24I don't care about the blame.
12:27I only care about the result.
12:30And he was hurt for two games.
12:33You brought him back for a game.
12:36He got hurt again, and now you must go down to L.A.
12:39without your starting quarterback in probably the toughest game of the year.
12:44So that may have made the game tomorrow more difficult because of the decision you made on Sunday.
12:51I'm not saying it was wrong, but there are very real ramifications for the fact that he played,
12:58and now we're not going to be able to see him, our best quarterback, play against the L.A. Rams.
13:04It has a consequence.
13:05What if he waited the five weeks?
13:07It's two to five.
13:07I don't know.
13:08He waits the five weeks, and then the same thing happens, and he gets hurt again.
13:12What then?
13:13Do we feel better because they waited the five weeks?
13:15How about if I throw this out?
13:17How about if Mack plays last week, who also was less healthy than Brock?
13:22He really messes his knee up.
13:25Then Brock plays tomorrow night, and he comes out sore.
13:29Martinez.
13:29And now, or whoever.
13:32My favorite calls are the ones who are like, hey, Martinez, what the hell are you talking about?
13:39Who is he?
13:41And don't give me, well, Brock was nobody once upon a time, too.
13:44It doesn't mean that every third stringer is now going to be a star.
13:49And by the way, the 49ers did know coming out of camp that Brock was their best QB that year.
13:54They all said it, but politics did not allow them to start him right away.
13:59The thirst to see Adrian Martinez is hysterical.
14:02Not over here.
14:04It's hysterical.
14:05UFL MVP last year.
14:07Put some respect on his name.
14:08He's probably not going to be a Niner by next week.
14:12Yeah, based on what you were talking about earlier, where you only get three practice squad elevations,
14:16and this is number three.
14:17And, Debs, I'm with you to Stine's point.
14:19Like, this is part of the territory.
14:21We've heard Baldy, former NFL players, Lo Neal, just talk about this injury and how it can follow you all season.
14:28So, Stine, if you wanted them to wait five to six weeks, my point is this still may have popped off and been your new reality of his pain management.
14:38You guys are missing the point.
14:39And he finished the game.
14:40My point is that when we first hear that Purdy's injured, we always talk about, oh, boy, well, when do you bring him back?
14:47When do you bring him back?
14:48You should probably be careful.
14:49He's the future.
14:51Okay, but a football guy's got to play.
14:52He's got to play.
14:53Yeah.
14:53So, we talk about the consequences of playing a guy or not playing a guy, knowing absolutely nothing about how, what percentage he is playing at.
15:05The 49ers made a decision to play Purdy.
15:09When was he questionable the week before Jacksonville?
15:12Up until what day?
15:14He actually wasn't.
15:15Yep.
15:16He was a full participant?
15:17Well, when the official report comes out on Friday, he was not on it.
15:20He was not on the injury report.
15:21Right.
15:22I think he was limited on the Wednesday practice, and then Thursday he was, I think, full, and then Friday he was not on the report.
15:28Okay.
15:29So, Mack was, though.
15:31Mack had an injury designation last week.
15:33Yeah.
15:33Nevertheless, Brock Purdy was at a percentage that they felt comfortable putting him out there, whatever that was.
15:40Yeah.
15:41Right?
15:41Yeah.
15:42Okay, and now they're not going to have him for the Rams game, and I'm going to assume that the toe's worse than it was.
15:50Why would you assume that?
15:51Because he played Sunday.
15:52Doesn't mean that it's worse.
15:54I mean, you can make that assumption.
15:55I mean, why would he play Sunday?
15:56You're allowed to assume whatever you want to make.
15:57Why would he play Sunday and not play tomorrow?
16:00I think that's fair.
16:00Unless he got more hurt.
16:02It could be as hurt as it was before.
16:04It could be slightly less hurt.
16:05We don't know.
16:06Well, no.
16:06I'm going to go by what he has said.
16:08It's not as hurt as it was after Seattle.
16:10He just played it.
16:11But I don't think it feels as good as it did last Saturday.
16:14I think that's fair.
16:15That's what he basically said.
16:16I thought he was implying that it's more hurt than it was when he hurt the first time.
16:21No, it's actually the opposite.
16:22Like Brock clearly said, he stated yesterday, it's nowhere near as bad as how it felt after Seattle.
16:27So, yeah, he'll have two weeks between games if he plays in Tampa.
16:31Like right now, I can tell he thinks he's playing in Tampa.
16:35Yeah.
16:35Like he indicated that this is because it's a Thursday game.
16:39I sort of take from that that if it were a Sunday game, he'd probably have a shot to play.
16:45But, you know, again, all of these things are rolls of the dice.
16:50Like what if we compared what the Niners did last week in playing him to what Purdy did on third down from the two-yard line in Seattle?
16:59Okay?
17:00You have a field goal, you think, in your hip pocket.
17:02I know your kicker is on his way out the door.
17:05Your kicker is on a therapy couch.
17:08But Brock rolls out to the right and he sees Tonjes.
17:12The whole world thinks Tonjes is not open.
17:16And Brock, again, this all happens so fast.
17:19But it's a risk-reward play.
17:22Like, I'm going to throw it.
17:24I'm going to throw this thing up.
17:25It might get picked.
17:26It might get knocked down.
17:27Who knows?
17:28Maybe it gets a call.
17:29The completion probability was like 16%.
17:31Right.
17:32But it happens.
17:34And so now we go, great decision.
17:37Now, same thing with what the Niners are doing.
17:39You might know that this is a little bit of a roll of the dice.
17:44But, sure, you could get hurt again.
17:47You could win the football game.
17:48You could lose the football game.
17:50You could miss multiple weeks.
17:51You could miss one game.
17:53Everything is that decision in that moment.
17:56And I, this is just me, when it's pro sports, any sports, I'm a fan of, like, you've got to roll the dice sometimes.
18:04You've got to push it.
18:05You have to push it.
18:06It's like going for it on fourth down.
18:08And we want Kyle to do that more.
18:12Okay.
18:12Maybe did they push it?
18:14They probably felt like they didn't have a whole lot of a choice.
18:17Um, I don't know.
18:19In the moment, to me, it makes sense.
18:20But, yeah, you're right that the worst possible outcome took place.
18:26Yeah.
18:26I mean, it's not the worst.
18:28The worst would be Jim Burrow.
18:29You know what I mean.
18:30Well, the worst would have been season-end.
18:32With regard to tomorrow.
18:33Fair enough.
18:33Not the whole season.
18:34For me, looking at tomorrow, I'm more fixated on what they're going to have at receiver.
18:40And they're going to have Kendrick Bourne, who has eight catches.
18:43Demarcus Robinson.
18:44One.
18:45Skymore.
18:45One.
18:46Marquez Valdez-Scantling.
18:48One.
18:48You've got 11 catches at the wide receiver position going into this game.
18:51So, no Ayuk.
18:53No Jennings.
18:54No Pearsall.
18:55Now, you got McCaffrey.
18:56So, let's go ahead and get ahead of it now.
18:58Christian McCaffrey leads football in touches with 100.
19:02That's 25 a game.
19:04Are we all going to hold our breath if he gets 37 touches in this game?
19:08I'll go higher than 25 tomorrow.
19:09Agreed.
19:10Yeah.
19:11But then they would have to have the ball.
19:12So, I'm assuming that the Rams defense is giving them the business.
19:15They're going to have the ball.
19:16But let's just get ahead of it now.
19:17Because if something were to happen to Christian McCaffrey and he gets 33 touches and he gets
19:23hurt, let's all be alarmist up front as opposed to after the fact.
19:27I will say this.
19:28Over 25 touches.
19:29But no alarmist.
19:29I don't want this to sound defeatist because that's not how I look at tomorrow.
19:32I know tomorrow's a really, it's a hell of a challenge.
19:35I mean, man.
19:35But I'm not defeatist about it.
19:37But if you're down by 21 in the second half, then yeah, get him out of the game.
19:41How about Garendo?
19:42If you're down by 21.
19:44What's going on with him?
19:45I don't know.
19:45Zero offensive snaps.
19:46He's a special teamer.
19:48And he's not very good at that.
19:50Well, I mean, he's on coverage teams and the like.
19:54But he's not returning anymore, you noticed.
19:55Yeah, because he's not very good at it.
19:57Yeah.
19:58So, I want to see Brian Robinson Jr. and McCaffrey on the field at the same time.
20:03Have McCaffrey just straight up play receiver.
20:05I can't remember a Niner game where I felt like you got two chances, slim and none.
20:10And Evan pointed out the Green Bay game last year where they had Brandon Allen a couple years.
20:14It was over in three minutes.
20:16This is different, though.
20:18Like, everybody's heard.
20:19Yeah, you'd like it to have a different outcome.
20:22But I feel you.
20:23And when we think about it, I think we all think about exactly what we're talking about.
20:27The offense was a backup quarterback.
20:29It's all backup receivers.
20:31It's a backup tight end.
20:32And what we're forgetting is that the 49er front four last week literally looked like they were running into a brick wall on every snap.
20:41And instead of Trevor Lawrence this time, it's Matt Stafford with his choice of Puka Nakua or Devontae Adams.
20:49How the hell are the Niners going to stop that tomorrow night?
20:52That's real.
20:52We can get into some of the advanced analytics, two to six, because the Niner defense, I think, is getting a bad rap.
20:59That's what the advanced numbers will show.
21:01But the spread is on the move, ladies and gentlemen.
21:04It's off the board on my side.
21:06Seven and a half now.
21:07It was off the board.
21:07Draft Kings.
21:08Over a touchdown in the NFL.
21:09Johnny Avello, right?
21:10Is a straight disrespect of the opponent.
21:13Well, the Browns beat Green Bay, but they got defense.
21:16The Niners' defense.
21:18It's also a home game.
21:19Yeah.
21:19It's also a home game.
21:20Well, this is home-ish for the Niners.
21:22Ish.
21:22And if you look at the history of Kyle Shanahan, they are exactly the same home and road.
21:28Not against the spread, but their record overall.
21:31But, yeah, right now it's up to seven and a half, and that number moved when the receiver news broke.
21:38It already jumped up because of the quarterback news, but now it's an extra point for the fact that your two receivers are not going to play.
21:45It's like another point every hour right now.
21:47Now, I got to check with Bontae on this regarding divisional games and whether they can be anything other than divisional games.
21:56But the one thing the Niners have going for them is it's a trap game for the Rams.
22:01It's a trap game.
22:01Please explain.
22:02They're at home.
22:03They're seven and a half point favorites.
22:05No.
22:05They're feeling good.
22:07Now, you got the same record.
22:08Had this not been, like, who were they looking ahead to?
22:12Bontae may, it's about Bontae.
22:15Bontae may have out, like, division games cannot be trap games.
22:22So, it could be thrown out on that technicality.
22:26It was not even just, because those games are different.
22:28By the way, it's not even just a divisional game.
22:31It's Rams-Niners.
22:32Yeah.
22:32Like, this is a rivalry.
22:34Like, this gets emotions going.
22:37The whole idea of a trap game is that you're emotionally sort of not.
22:40The Niners are all banged up.
22:42Yeah, but you're sort of emotionally not there.
22:45Now, I'm looking at the Rams next game.
22:50Who is it?
22:50It's at Baltimore.
22:52However, Lamar Jackson's probably not playing in it.
22:55So, maybe not back to the trap game.
22:57Back to back trap games for the Rams.
23:00They're not playing a starting quarterback in the next two weeks.
23:02They're looking ahead to the Jaguars in two weeks.
23:04Can I do fantasy check?
23:06I'm 2-2.
23:06I'm feeling good about it.
23:07I'm playing you.
23:09Let's go.
23:09I'm the last winless team in this league.
23:12Oh, I got a layup.
23:12And I got another.
23:14Oh, by the way, I'm favored by about 30.
23:17Well, I'll make some adjustments.
23:19I got some buys.
23:20Okay.
23:20I got another bad break this morning.
23:23I was all not excited.
23:24I hate it when players get injured.
23:26Yeah.
23:26But I had drafted Trey Benson.
23:28And so, the James Conner thing, I was like, oh, I caught a break.
23:33And it lasted three quarters.
23:34And now Trey Benson's on IR.
23:36So, I mean, it's week four.
23:40Everybody's 2-2.
23:41That's the way it is.
23:42What are you, baby?
23:432-2.
23:44I got Randy this week.
23:46It's a revenge spot after last year he beat me by like .7 or something.
23:50I'm 3-1.
23:50You want a side bet?
23:52I think I got you this week.
23:54You know, I'm going to hold off.
23:55Speaking of side bets, a big win by the Chiefs.
23:59The Chiefs just want to take us out already.
24:022-2.
24:03Somebody needs to look at the standings and say, if the playoffs started today.
24:07Prince had a song.
24:08You got that look.
24:09Actually, let's look at that.
24:10If the playoffs started today.
24:12We don't want that.
24:13Would the Chiefs be in?
24:14Give us one more week.
24:15You'd have to go deep into the tiebreaker.
24:17Because right now, Jacksonville at 3-1 would be the first.
24:21That means they're worried early.
24:23I'm liking it early.
24:25I'm not worried at all.
24:26They look good, though.
24:27They get the together.
24:29They look better.
24:30And if you look at their schedule, you've got at the Bills, at the Broncos, in back-to-back spots.
24:36That's not easy.
24:37Don't they play Detroit coming up, too?
24:39They do.
24:40Detroit.
24:41They got Jacksonville this week.
24:42That's a trap game.
24:43No, Jacksonville's going to be flat because they're coming off a sky-high win out here at Levi's Stadium.
24:52Trevor Lawrence, man.
24:53He can pick you apart.
24:54Watch out for him.
24:56When do you have Cosell?
24:57Let me get out of here.
24:58Oh, dude.
24:59Actually, the guest list is bananas.
25:00Give it to us.
25:01So, Cosell, yes, in exactly an hour.
25:04But how about Al Michaels in 15 minutes?
25:06Come on.
25:07Yeah.
25:07Oh, yeah.
25:08And then how about Giants GM Zach Manassian at 345?
25:11That's bad.
25:12That's what's happening on the next show.
25:13What are you doing after four?
25:14Talking.
25:15On 95-7 the game.
25:16Screaming about Kaminga.
