00:00Illinois night. Making noise in the Illinois night. Take me out for some hot dogs.

00:09Alright, back in Chicago again. And, uh, well, I found a place in Darien. Not too far from Chicago.

00:21You know? And, uh, this place is called Teddy's Red Hots. Now, its original location was in Downers Grove.

00:27And, uh, they've been a beloved, popular hot dog spot for years.

00:32Well, come here to see just how good they are. They have a nice bright light. You know, kind of like the neon light.

00:39You don't get to see that too often anymore. Especially when, you know, that's the best part of raw doggy night.

00:45The neon lights. Well, let's see if these hot dogs are a neon delight.

00:57All right. Teddy's is called an, they say they're an all-American tradition. Now, they don't use the, uh, typical Chicago style bun.

01:18But the bundle door ratio is fantastic. You look like me and the dog sticks out of the rib on a little bit.

01:25It's got some good coloring to it. It feels like it's nicely steamed.

01:29Well, let's see how the hot dog actually tastes.

01:32Decent snap. I'm gonna say this is a double on the way.

01:49Now, we got the chili and cheese. Now, the chili does carry beans.

02:01Um, let's see how it tastes. It's, uh, kind of falling apart.

02:08Very peppery chili.

02:25Beans, they'll kind of, like, put it off balance. I'm gonna give the chili dog a single.

02:36All right. This is a fine establishment. They've been doing hot dogs since the 80s.

02:45Although, I could be wrong. They could even be older than that.

02:48I'm just judging by the signs on the wall and old articles.

02:53They've, uh, had as many as three locations. This one's in, uh, Darien.

02:58Of course, Downing Grove is the original. And, you know, they're a solid hot dog.

03:03So, if you want to go find a nice hot dog, I recommend Teddy's Red Hots.
