00:00All right! Well, we're back in the Chicago Land area. And here we are in Thornton, Illinois, at Boz Hot Dogs. Yes, Boz. Now, there are a couple of Boz Hot Dogs around here, but Boz has lost.
00:18They're hot dogs. And I don't care, you know, this is not too far from where Pope Leo grew up. So, you're going to imagine Pope Leo one day, which is before he's Pope, of course. Coming down here, we've got quarries, and we've got this nice-looking place to go.
00:36Man looks kind of happy there. Well, let's see if these hot dogs are worthy to tank as they go wall-docking at Boz Hot Dogs!
00:48All right, Boz Hot Dogs, you know, they've been around since 1969. They've got a couple locations here in Illinois and Indiana.
01:16And, well, they don't use Vienna beef. But they're kind of a pork beef blend. Bunded dog ratio is good, but the coloring leaves a lot to be desired.
01:29They're steamed hot dogs. Steamed bun. Well, let's give a try.
01:36Okay, definitely got the pork beef blend. Tastes more pork than beef.
01:51An infield single. Excuse me, swing.
02:02Let's see how the chili dog actually tastes.
02:07There's no snap. The chili tastes like it came from a can.
02:24Cheese is funny.
02:26Hee hee hee!
02:32Well, Boz Hot Dogs.
02:36You know, this is why, if you're in this area, you've got to go with the Vienna beef. Come on.
02:42I don't know what those hot dogs were. But they were very ordinary. Not very good.
02:49And, uh, I wouldn't say this is a great place. So if you know a place that's better than this, let me know.
02:55You should never know what I'm gonna show. I'll be in Chicago here and there. So I'll be back.
03:02So, see you down the road. Keep raw dogging.
03:09Take me out for some hot dogs.
03:13Get me one that's only plain.
03:16No mustard or ketchup.
03:19I'll know what the dog is really about.
03:22And it's hope that this is a good one.
03:26Maybe a home run or a double.
03:29But if it sucks, it will be a strikeout and not worthy of my taste buds.
