00:054 divided by 4 is 1. 4 multiplied by 4 is 16. And this is division. So answer is supposed to be 1 by 16.
00:13No, that is not how things work in mathematics. Please understand that in mathematics there are certain rules which we need to apply.
00:20So division and multiplication hold equal precedence. So in sums like these you have to go from left to right.
00:25It means whatever operation happens first from your left hand side has to be done first.
00:30So first we will tackle this division, then this division and then this multiplication.
00:35So 4 divided by 4 is 1 divided by 4 multiplied by 4. So basically we have to do this first.
00:411 upon 4 multiplied by 4. So this is cancelling. So answer for this question is supposed to be just 1.
