00:06Netanyahu stated that he supported President Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza.

01:11A new version of the White House's peace plan, which was made public on Monday, mentions a

01:17technocratic Palestinian government that will be run by a Board of Peace, led by Trump and

01:30Longer term, the plan envisions the Palestinian Authority taking control of Gaza and leaves

01:36open the possibility of a Palestinian state.

01:40Netanyahu had been clear about his opposition to a Palestinian state, Trump said during the

01:47press conference.

01:49Over the past few days, Arab nations and Israel have been requesting changes to the text, with

01:55sticking points like Hamas demilitarization and the PA's involvement in future Gaza governance.

02:02It's not clear whether those negotiations have actually concluded or whether what Netanyahu

02:09thinks he agreed to fully matches what the Arab states support, let alone Hamas.

02:14He stated, we will finish the job in the event that Hamas does not accept the agreement or

02:22fails to implement it.

02:23Netanyahu's remarks seemed intended in large part at appeasing his own domestic audience,

02:31particularly hardliners in his coalition.

02:34It calls on Israeli forces to withdraw to the agreed-upon line, with the remaining hostages

02:41then released within 72 hours.

02:45Israel would also release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in its custody.

02:51The outline states that, Hamas members who commit to peaceful coexistence and to decommission

02:57their weapons will be given amnesty and may leave Gaza if they so choose.

03:03Hamas would have no role in governing the enclave.

03:07There would be a process of demilitarization in Gaza and the UDAS would work with Arab and

03:14international partners to develop a temporary international security force, per the outline.

03:22The United Nations aid to Gaza will be significantly increased.

03:27Additionally, the Trump economic development plan for Gaza is mentioned in the outline.

03:35During his meeting with Trump on Monday, Netanyahu called Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman

03:42al-Thani and apologized for violating Qatari sovereignty in Israel's recent strike on Doha.

03:50Qatari mediation with Hamas was contingent on Israel offering an apology for the strike.

03:57Trump held a call with the Emir of Qatar before Netanyahu's arrival at the White House.
