00:35Russia says a summit takes time to prepare. Details news. Russia said on Wednesday it had

00:41conducted a major training exercise involving nuclear arms. A day after the US announced a

00:47delay in plans for a second summit between Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin on the war in

00:52Ukraine. The Kremlin released video showing General Valery Jurasimov, head of the general staff,

00:58reporting to Putin on the drills. Russia claimed it used ground launchers,

01:03submarines, and aircraft to launch missiles, including intercontinental ballistic weapons

01:08that could hit the United States. In a further show of strength, Russia's defense ministry said

01:13its long-range .222M3 strategic bombers flew over the Baltic Sea, escorted at various points by

01:20fighter jets from foreign, presumably NATO, states. At key moments in the war, Putin has issued reminders

01:27of Russia's nuclear might as a warning to Kiev and its Western allies. NATO has also been conducting

01:33nuclear deterrence exercises this month. On Wednesday, Sweden said it had signed a letter

01:39of intent to export Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine, as European governments act to boost

01:44Kyiv's defenses in a war that has ground on for three years and eight months since Russia's full-scale

01:49invasion, and shows no sign of ending soon. Ukrainian pilots have been in Sweden to test the Gripen,

01:56a rugged and relatively low-cost option compared to aircrafts such as the U.S.

02:0135. Kiev aimed to receive and start using Gripen's next year and expected to acquire at least 100,

02:09President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a visit to Swedish defense manufacturer Saab.
