00:00Born and grew up in Mexico City and all my family is from horses. My dad passed away when I was
00:14three years old so my uncle raised me and he was a trainer in Mexico so he's the one taught me,
00:21teach me everything about horses. I rode my first race when I was 14 years old in Mexico and that's
00:29how we start. We start really young but from the beginning I've been loving horses. This is my
00:34passion you know I never done anything else except horses and I got the opportunity to come to this
00:41country and work for Jeff Bondy for 25 years. So right now my main barn is Field of Marro which is
00:50I really thank him for giving me a big chance to work on his horses. He gave me the trust you know
00:57so since then I kind of start open doors for everybody. I was riding She's a Tiger, The Lava Man,
01:07Mystic Gun, California Chrome, now a journalist. You don't really feel him when he's touching the
01:14ground. He's got this big body you know and when you're working him you feel like he's not even
01:20touching the ground because you're thinking you're going like really slow. Nah, you're going quick
01:27with him. He wants to do what he wants and he just had to be the pilot.
01:34Motori has been riding him for four years. We got the connection together. I know when he's down,
01:41I know when he's happy, I know everything. I mean I love the way he's training right now. The last race
01:48that he's that he ran and that was that was really really amazing the way the finish.
01:53Motori has got him! Motori has got him to win!

01:57Come in the mornings and enjoy it. Like usually I never take a day off because it feel like
02:01something's missing through my day. Horses are like you're family. You have to know
02:08every every horse got a different attitude. I had to make them feel that we're not working,
02:14we just kind of have fun. Every single day we're all dreaming to go to British Cup as a riders,
02:19as a grooms, trainers. That's what we're dreaming, you know, to be in those kind of special races.
02:26It's not easy, you know, it takes a lot to get there and I'm I'm blessed. I'm blessed, you know,
02:31the the like these guys, the trainers, they give me the opportunity and ride those horses for those kind of races.
