00:04which has been welcomed by several European and Middle Eastern countries.
00:08According to the plan, fighting will stop immediately.
00:12Hamas will release 20 Israeli hostages,
00:15along with the remains of those believed to have been killed,
00:18while Israel will free hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
00:22The plan also states that Hamas will have no role in governing Gaza.
00:27Instead, a non-political Palestinian committee will take temporary control.
00:32The U.S. and its allies will oversee the process
00:35and launch an economic program for Gaza's reconstruction.
00:40Trump called it a historic day,
00:43while Netanyahu warned that if Hamas refuses the deal,
00:47Israel will carry out its military operations to completion.
00:51The Palestinian Authority and several Arab states have also backed the peace plan,
00:55expressing hope for a two-state solution.
