00:00Lisa, I'm just going to throw it to you open-ended.
00:02What was your biggest takeaway from this football game?
00:03I was more impressed with Dallas responding to the moment.
00:07I thought they would, especially because of how personal Jerry Jones
00:11took this situation with Micah Parsons.
00:14He reached out to a number of different former Cowboys,
00:16including Michael Irvin, trying to talk to Micah prior to shipping him to Green Bay.
00:22So I really believed you were going to get Dallas' best effort.
00:26Now, it started slow, and we know that their defense is terrible,
00:29but when Dak is on in that home field, they stepped up against, you know,
00:34a team that many thought were one of the best in the NFC.
00:37I think the offense for Green Bay was impressive,
00:40but I still have concerns now with their defense being exposed by a team
00:45that didn't have all its weapons, right?
00:47CD's not in there.
00:48I mean, Tolbert stepped up.
00:49I mean, we know that Dak can play football,
00:52but after they got kicked in the teeth by Chicago the week before on the road,
00:56I don't think a lot of people thought Dallas would respond the way they did,
01:00and I was more impressed with the Dallas effort than I was Green Bay league.
01:04So I was on Dallas in this spot at plus seven,
01:07and one of the reasons I think is something you alluded to,
01:10you know, all it talks about Micah, Micah, Micah,
01:12but for Dallas, again, it's too early in the year to lay down and die,
01:19and everyone is now, it's like, Parsons is coming back.
01:24What are you going to do about it?
01:25Yeah.
01:25We're going to step up then, right?
01:26Right.
01:26I think they were sick of it.
01:28Yes, yes.
01:28I think you had to meet the moment,
01:31and they were able to do that once they got going.
01:35Now, it is the second week in a row that this defense in the Green Bay defense
01:41looked like they were ready to throw a shutout,
01:43and Jordan Love was like, what if I make your job way harder?
01:48Did it against Cleveland by throwing that interception,
01:51and then I know Dallas had got the touchdown, but it was 13-9.
01:54That blocked extra point.
01:55Yeah, that was the momentum shift.
01:57So that was a big, but Joe, then Green Bay's like, you know what?
02:00This defense is so bad.
02:01Let's light them up.
02:02Get down there, Jordan.
02:03Hit a big pass.
02:04Strip sack fumble.
02:05Dak hits Pickens into the end zone.
02:07It's 16-13 at halftime.
02:08They're being 13-0, not that an extra point pending away from being 14-0.
02:12This thing's going to get ugly here.
02:15Again, good for Dallas, but the Packers through two weeks
02:19were knocking on the door of Super Bowl favorite status.
02:24They were legitimately the NFC favorites over the defending champs through two weeks,
02:30and now they are winless in the next two games
02:34against the Packers, against the Cowboys, and the Browns.
02:37Right.
02:38Jordan Love, Matt LaFleur, I didn't trust you before the trade.
02:43I didn't trust you when you made the trade.
02:44I don't trust you after four weeks.
02:46Well, think about the week one performance.
02:48Detroit was breaking in a new OC and a new DC, right?
02:51And we always talk about it takes a couple of days or a couple of games to get acclimated.
02:56So, was that what we saw in that week one domination, offensively and defensively?
03:00Are we putting a lot of weight now?
03:02If they were to play Detroit tomorrow, knowing how that offense is humming now in three straight weeks,
03:08I don't know if they would win it.
03:10I don't even think they would step up.
03:12Now, we'll see, obviously, when they have divisional matchups,
03:15but I think that's the takeaway is that, yeah, they won and dominated week one in Lambeau,
03:20but when you look at this team now big picture, second-half adjustments they haven't made.
03:24They certainly didn't do it against the Browns.
03:26They didn't do it yesterday against the Cowboys, and that's the problem that we're having now.
03:32The adjustments.
03:34LaFleur did a great job of exposing that secondary, right?
03:38They didn't utilize Josh Jacobs.
03:40He got the football to Dobbs, great performance, 52 yards, three touchdowns.
03:45Jordan Love is stepping up to be that player, but you can't have mental mistakes,
03:51especially on the road against teams that could bite you, and Dallas got them.
03:56And, again, they get out of there with a tie, luckily.
03:59Yeah.
03:59But, I mean, that's the thing.
04:01I don't think right now they're 2-1-1.
04:03They almost didn't get the field goal off.
04:04I know.
04:05Like, it was...
04:062-1-1.
04:08Again.
04:09They're not better than the Eagles, so I'm just going to say it right there.
04:12They're not a better team than the Eagles, and I think if they played Detroit this weekend,
04:17they would lose.
04:18Here's the thing, right?
04:19Sometimes when people talk about this, they play their best, and they play their best,
04:23right?
04:24And that's the thing with the Ravens.
04:25Like, if the Ravens play their best, yeah, well, they don't.
04:28Their defense is terrible, and they're not...
04:30If Green Bay plays their best, right, which, like, they did in the first half against Washington
04:35in the first half against Detroit, I don't think I'm going to get Green Bay's best every
04:40single quarter, half, week.
04:43And that's what leaves you vulnerable.
04:45If you have to be at your best, or otherwise, you know, you're turning the ball over like
04:49Jordan Love, you leave yourself...
04:51You leave yourself very vulnerable.
