00:36It's glorious, magnificent, the mighty caravan Brutasaur.
00:41I must have it, I've heard tales of old, how auction house NPCs can stand on the Brutasaur.
00:49Such great imagination could be done, the biggest mount in the game.
00:55I needed it with all my being, plus you get that juicy feet of strength.
01:01So I begged, I begged the NPC, please give it to me.
01:07What must I do to grab such a magnificent mount?
01:11Well he told me, well mon, you must buy the mount mon.
01:17So I asked him, how much will it be?
01:20Five million gold?
01:23Well how much do I have?
01:25Two hundred thousand gold, what?
01:28At least I'll have the rest of the game to farm this out, right?
01:32Oh my god, Blizzard!

01:42I've been doing these World of Warcraft Visions of N'Zoth carry runs, making absolute BANK,

01:50It's crazy how much gold I've been accumulating, I'm up to 2.5 million gold.
01:57We might make the deadline yet, but I'm gonna need something a little bit faster.
02:03But I've been really enjoying this, some say I might be enjoying this a little bit too

03:20Now what is death rolling?

03:25You see, death rolling is an ingenious concept originating in Classic WoW, where two people
03:31roll on agreed upon value, normally 10k or the gold amount.
03:36That is, one person rolls 1 through 10k, they get a number, then the next person rolls their
03:41number 1 through X amount of number.
03:45You keep going, back and forth, very tense-like, until one person hits the number 1.
03:53If you hit number 1, then you COMPLETELY lose.
03:58Do not pass go, do not collect 100 dollars, in fact, you give the 100 dollars to somebody
04:05else, bro.
04:06And it can get very stressful, as you can see here, especially when you're getting to
04:10the lower numbers.
04:11Boom!

04:14That's basically instant.
04:15And then here you go, rolling twos, back and forth like this, it can get really stressful.
04:20And then eventually, you lose, and you lose all your money, except, when I play, I don't
04:27lose.
04:28Here, let me show you what I hear when I play the game.
04:35With my newfound winning streak in hand, I decided to up the ante.
04:39I wanted to bet everything I own on a death roll.
04:43So I started contacting everyone on the server, who was the richest, who also gambled.
04:48I eventually found this tauren mage.
04:51He is known as the gambler.
04:53He made his fortune through selling on the auction house, a true venture capitalist, yet
04:59in his free time, he gambles.
05:01Don't get me wrong though, he is insanely lucky like me, beating almost everybody in a
05:06duel.
05:07Nobody stands a chance against him in death rolling.
05:11He always wins.
05:13Time was running out though, I needed that gold, so we needed to fight now.
05:18So I dusted off the old chat box, getting ready to contact the gambler for the biggest gambling
05:26death roll of my entire career, telling him I have a proposition for you, stroking his ego,
05:34calling him the richest man on our server, hopefully catching him off guard for once when I hit him
05:41with my death rolling prowess.
05:43I give him the terms.
05:45You and me.
05:46Death roll.
05:47Two million gold.
05:48Winner takes all.
05:50Victor gets the spoils.
05:52Are you interested?
05:55He responds back, ha ha ha ha.
05:59You think you have two million gold?
06:01Well show me, and you my friend, have yourself a deal.
06:06Where would you like to meet to start the death rolling competition?
06:10I say, the Great Seal of Zoldazar, where the Pyramid of Kings lives.
06:19This is the Great Seal, where the Zandalari Empire themselves, the greatest troll empire on Azeroth,
06:28makes their home base.
06:29It is covered in 24 karat solid gold.
06:33So I ride my dark phoenix straight up to the throne room themselves, where Queen Talanji
06:40sits with my lucky dice in hand, preparing myself for the rolls of a century.
06:47These rolls will determine who becomes the most richest person on all of Azeroth, not just
06:56the continent of Zendalar.
06:59So I wait for the tauren, the gambler, to come and face me.
07:05He arrives, and I open up a trade window with him, showing him that I have the gold needed
07:12to start this death rolling right here.
07:17May the games begin!
07:19We dust off our trusty dice, face each other, stare each other in the eyes, and roll upon the
07:26agreed value.
07:27This one being one million.
07:31Even though we were at such high numbers, I myself start sweating.
07:36My heart starts slowly pounding, even though the chances of getting a one here is near zero.
07:43Yet the numbers kept crawling down.
07:45The seven thousands!
07:47Seven thousand four hundred and twenty three!
07:50I started shaking.
07:52My retaliation to rolling got slower.
07:55The ability of hitting one becomes much more apparent and clearer.
08:00We hang up in the three thousands for a little while, then we drop down to a thousand.
08:05It's almost over now!
08:07Three hundred and eighty one!
08:08My heart starts pounding even more.
08:10I don't know what's going on.
08:12My mind just takes over.
08:14My body too scared to keep going.
08:17Full autopilot now!
08:19Seventy-six!

08:21What's gonna happen?

08:23It gets more and more stressful.

08:27And now, I'm really stressed now.

09:20And then I get on my fly mount and fly away.
09:24Except so I thought, until I randomly started getting whispers about five minutes later from
09:31the Gambler saying, bro, pay up!
09:35This was not part of our deal!
09:39Do you want to get banned?
09:41I am the richest man on this server.
09:45I have connections up with Blizzard.
09:47As we speak, I am filing a ticket right now!
09:52Do you want to get banned for fraud and scamming?
09:55I know Blizzard will compensate me for the lack of time and gold by banning you!
10:01Taking all the gold out of your account and transferring it to mine, so I don't care either way!
10:06But I would rather not file out this ticket right here!
10:10So you have exactly five minutes right here as I type out these words to come to me, trade the gold, and then I'll drop all this.

10:34And so I had one of the biggest decisions of my life.
10:37I immediately log out, and I look at every single character I've ever made, from 15 years ago to just yesterday.
10:45I remembered all the fondest memories I had on each and every one of these characters.
10:51Is two million gold really worth all these memories, and all the future memories I could have?
10:57Surely I'm not going to sit here and get banned over my pride ego and vanity for the mighty Caravan Brutasaur!
11:07Looking at all these characters, I knew I could not lose it, as World of Warcraft was not just a game to me, it was my second life, and losing it would mean I would be completely lost.
11:21So I knew what I had to do, I logged right back into Gandriel.
11:27I told the tauren gambler to meet me in the middle of Orgrimmar to prepare the trade window.
11:34I reluctantly typed two, zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, then I accept the trade.
11:42I then, flown away from the bustling crowd in Orgrimmar, and decided to slow walk my failures.
11:49Ike was crying, both in game, and a few tears in real life, due to the highs that gambling gave me.
