00:00Hold your horses as a new name has not been announced just yet to replace the Soka Warriors.
00:07Well, a newspaper report you might remember yesterday suggested that the national football team would be renamed the Carnival Kings.
00:13But the idea has sparked widespread rejection and criticism online.
00:18In response, TFA Vice President Colin Murray says no decision has been taken.
00:22He explained that the executive has not yet met to finalize a new name and the matter will only be addressed after the World Cup campaign.
00:31Murray stressed, quote, we do not want the technical staff or players to be distracted as all of their attention should be directed to the next four games.
00:40After the campaign is over, we will then launch the name going forward.
00:45End quote.
00:46I say strike squad.
00:48All-Defense Force coach Devon Jocelyn, meanwhile, says it would be a major achievement if a side goes on to capture the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup title.
00:56The Army Coast Guard combination feasts off against Weymouth Wales tonight from 8 p.m. at the Heasley Crawford Stadium.
01:02Jocelyn believes that lifting the trophy would not only be a proud moment for the club, but could also provide a much-needed boost for football in Trinidad and Tobago.
01:10I think it's massive for football in the country, because in football, we know we have people investing in the sport, and if they're not seeing that return on investment, it's easy for sponsors to pull out.
01:23So I think it's massive for the Defence Force to do well in this tournament and go on to the semifinals and even win the tournament.
01:31What we will do, it will boost the football, it will bring back private sectors on board.
01:40So I can't stress enough how important it is for the country, for the football, for simple defenders, because if you don't have no football, a man who's selling nuts could lose income.
01:55So it's massive on all fronts.
01:57Well, meanwhile, Weymouth Wales head coach Akwit Hull said both teams' remaining fixers are important as they move a step closer to the semifinals.
02:09Both of our games are very important. Nevertheless, we can get this first game. We are the big game team. Nevertheless, we will try our best to come in at least with a point or win the game.
02:24Well, Hull also mentioned Wales have done their research on the Defence Force.
02:29They are the reigning champions of TT Premier League. As you know, they are a professional set-up, so it means that they have a lot of quality on their side.
02:39So we did some of our own reference to it. We look at some footage of their game, of their recent game against Cavaliers.
02:53And the guys, I think the guys are ready to go, and they believe that they can compete with these guys and get your points.
03:02Well, I hope you got the message.
03:05Well, for countries under-21 netballers, fortunes at the Netball World Cup in Gibraltar continue to dwindle as the team fell to Malaysia 50-40 in their battle for positions 9-16.
03:17It marks TNT's fourth loss of the tournament following defeats in the group stages against Fiji, Malawi and South Africa.
03:24The young netballers finished fourth in Group D, recording just a single win against regional rivals Barbados.
03:31So that will be a little bit of RICHARD's work as well.
03:38The KISSE is on-orcising on-cruising on exactly the way to double Eden-G focused on this team.
03:44The KISSE is on-cruising on-cruising on下來 via the 3rdves polypлушive law and the other team has been executing on-cruising on this team as well as a team.
03:51And that is not clear, the KISSE is on-cruising on the same team as well, as well.
03:56The KISSE is on-cruising on-cruising on-cruising.
