Some patches of cloud will creep into East Anglia and southeast England but the autumnal sunshine and dry conditions will continue for most of the UK. Western Scotland will feel breezier than elsewhere. Temperatures will be in the mid-teens for much of the UK but may reach highs of 19 in southeast England. 00:00Hello there, good afternoon.
00:01Well, after some chilly starts, many of us have been able to enjoy the autumnal sunshine,
00:06but we might start to see a change as we head closer to the weekend.
00:10Back to this afternoon though, and the autumnal sunshine is here to stay for many of us, though
00:14we might just start to see more cloud edge into parts of East Anglia, Sussex and Kemp
00:18by the afternoon.
00:19A chance there could be the odd isolated shower associated with this.
00:23Also some more cloud pushing into Western Scotland, quite breezy here, so creating more
00:27hazy spells of sunshine, once again with the risk of the odd shower.
00:31But for most of us, it's going to be dry, plenty of spells of sunshine, and feeling relatively
00:35warm across the South East.
00:37Highs reaching 19 to 20 degrees Celsius here, but around the mid-teens elsewhere.
00:42Now through into the evening, we'll continue to see this cloud push into parts of the South
00:46East.
00:47Once again, a chance we could see some showers associated with this, but for many of us it's
00:51going to remain dry, plenty of clear skies, particularly in the West, so once again some
00:55mist and fog likely by the time we reach the morning, and also some isolated rural frost
01:00in places.
01:01Most towns and cities, though, remaining in the mid to high single figures.
01:07So a fairly chilly start across Western spots, but largely bright, and then once again we're
01:11going to continue to see this cloud feed into areas of the South East, even eastern parts
01:16of England could start to see this cloud by the afternoon, and a chance once again we could
01:20see some showers associated with this.
01:22The best of the brightness is going to be across the West, but it is going to be fairly
01:25blustery across Western coasts of Scotland, a chance we could see a risk of gales in any
01:30exposed spots.
01:32So feeling a little cooler compared to this afternoon, highs reaching around 16 to 17 degrees
01:37Celsius.
01:39Now into the evening, it's not going to be quite as chilly, all thanks to this cloud slowly
01:43edging its way eastwards, and notice behind me there are some outbreaks of rain on its
01:47way, and fairly blustery weather associated with this too, and this is just the frontal
01:52system starting to edge its way in from the West as we head closer into the weekend, but
01:56it's likely to remain across many Western areas, possibly bringing some quite persistent
02:01outbreaks of rain.
02:02But across much of England and Wales, the beginning of the weekend should be mostly dry and bright,
02:06but do keep an eye on the forecast just in case that front moves in a little quicker
02:09than expected.
02:10And of course, more details on this weekend's weather.
02:13We can catch Aidan later on YouTube.
