00:00Just making my way out of Tour of War, where Burnley have exited the Carabao Cup, the third round stage.
00:07It put him a shock losing to League One Cardiff, but if you watch the game it wasn't a shock at all.
00:14Burnley can have no complaints about first half especially, they were well off the pace, they were wretches if we're being honest.
00:21Yes, Burnley made 11 changes, we know what that can do to a team, there's no sort of fluidity, only a bit of flow to their play.
00:29But what we saw in the first half was just a lack of effort, let's be honest.
00:33Too many players, barely broke sweat, and Cardiff were well worthy of their 2-0 lead at half time.
00:39Let's give them credit, they pressed really well from the half, played some really nice football.
00:44But if you watch the goals back, Burnley were motionless.
00:47That's not a Scott Parker team, the teams we've seen over the last year or so and they're defending.
00:53That's not what we witnessed in the first half.
00:56Second half Burnley were better, although they couldn't be much worse than the first half.
01:00But even then they were gifted the goal, it was a lovely finish from Zeon Fleming.
01:05But yeah, a cut came from an error from the goalkeeper.
01:08And then Burnley, they huffed and they puffed and they threw on three subs.
01:11Mike Chesil made a difference off the bench, but there weren't any really clear cut chances.
01:16And if I'm being honest, they didn't deserve the draw that I would have forced the penalties later on.
01:21So yeah, another sort of cup shocking as a Premier League side.
01:27Really disappointing.
01:29Obviously focus on the Premier League now, but to go out in that manner, I'm sure Scott Parker would be really disappointed.
01:35Not very disappointed.
