00:00Heading out of the John Smith Stadium at Huddersfield, or whatever it's called nowadays, the new sponsor.
00:07Football's back, Burnley played their first public pre-season friendly, or one of two, that is a split effort squad today.
00:17He's played two games, most fans are here today, for 2-0 win against Huddersfield.
00:24L1 Huddersfield, pretty familiar tale, pre-season affair for most of it.
00:32Burnley as you would expect as a Premier League team now, dominated possession, created two or three good opens in the first half, but it was a bit slow, a bit stodgy.
00:40Second half upped the tempo, but it was the youngsters that grabbed the headlines, grabbed the two goals.
00:46Joe McDermott, really impressed, not the first time I've been impressed with him, with a really deft header from Luke Collegas, Schroeder's cross.
00:52And Joe Wesley, making sure of the win late on, with a turning home from close range.
00:58And another team, another strong, pretty strong Burnley side, played out a 2-2 draw with Schroeder's bootown.
01:04But again, can't tell you too much about that, considering I wasn't there.
01:08But yeah, not too much to take from today, as I said. Typical sort of friendly affair.
01:13It was a back four Burnley today, rather than a back three, which has obviously been a topic of debate.
01:17But I do expect that will be something that changes throughout the season.
01:21Some more talking points as well, obviously the new signings we've seen, some of the returning players.
01:29The talking point obviously with the players that aren't here as well, which I'm sure we'll get into over the coming days as well.
01:34But yeah, up and running in terms of the friendlies we can watch.
01:37And we head to Stoke next week, before the home game against Lazio.
