Verdict on Burnley's 2-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday

00:00Just making my way out of Hillsborough where Burnley's picked up a deserved 2-0 win.

00:06To take them top of the table for now anyway, Sun in the play tomorrow.

00:10But yeah, much better than Burnley.

00:12We all wanted to see a bit more chance creation, a bit more excitement,

00:15a bit more attacking purpose and we got that today.

00:19A far more even first half.

00:22We won Burnley Edge, they took their chance when they had it, they were clinical.

00:26The chance came with Jadon Anthony, took advantage of a mistake at the back.

00:30The second half was much, it was one-sided.

00:34Burnley got the second to Doc Brownhill, his fifth of the season.

00:39Finishing after Zion Fleming who was really impressive into Lyle Foster.

00:43He took it away.

00:45Brownhill from close range.

00:47And then Burnley had good chances to make it 3-4.

00:50Could have been a really handsome win but 2-0.

00:52They're professional, much better than Burnley.

00:55What we wanted to see really was incremental improvements.

00:59Hopefully we'll take that into Wednesday night when they're away again.
