00:00The next phase of improvements at Town Park in Runcorn are due to start later this month, the Council has announced.
00:08This third phase of improvements will take place in the area of Town Park, between Holt Lane and Palace Fields.
00:16The improvements to the park include a new light central path for walking and cycling,
00:21the upgrade of existing paths, the creation of a new informal recreational path as alternative route for park users with seating located at regular intervals,
00:33improved feature entrances into Town Park from Main Street, Holt Lane and Stockham Lane,
00:38the installation of new street furniture and improvements to signage and wayfinding.
00:44Once complete, the new and enhanced park features will provide improved facilities for leisure and recreation.
00:51Encouraging park users to extend their stay and explore further into Town Park.
