Where could your local council do a better job?

Most will see Council Tax bills going up this April. Do you feel we get good value for money, and where could your local council do a better job?

00:00I think Liverpool City Council do the best they can with what they're given

00:03because of course the central government has cut budgets for everybody.

00:06Listen more to like when people like say they need more bin storage and stuff like that

00:11like you know and actually reply to people and don't ignore them.

00:14No value at all in the council tax, not the way it's going up.

00:19You know just listen to services they're paying for, especially roads, definitely a disgrace.

00:25And be more happy and cheery because they're so miserable and like you know

00:30like they're just all like you know they seem miserable and they don't they're not

00:34where's the good energy you know when you walk in the council building hello

00:37how are you it's not none of that it's like yeah take a seat, take a seat, I'll be in there in just a second.

00:43The services I most think are lacking are just like the fun stuff like

00:48libraries and swimming pools and things like that, that's really suffering

00:52through the cuts and what they can provide for us because they have to fix

00:57roads for example which needs done more as well actually but yeah.
