00:00Hurricane Gabriel is on the move, and it's picking up strength fast.
00:04Right now, Gabriel is swirling in the Atlantic, about 320 miles southeast of Bermuda,
00:09and it's already reached Category 1 status with winds at 75 miles per hour.
00:15But here's the real twist.
00:17Forecasters say it could rapidly intensify into a major hurricane in just the next day.
00:22The storm is tracking north-northwest at 10 mph and is expected to pass just east of Bermuda on Monday.
00:28No warnings are in effect yet, but officials are urging people in Bermuda to stay alert,
00:33as large ocean swells from Gabriel are already pounding the island.
00:37And that's not all.
00:39On the other side of the continent, Tropical Storm Narda has formed off Mexico's Pacific coast.
00:44Winds are at 40 Fontsintep, and it's moving northwest, far from land.
00:48But there's a chance Narda could become a hurricane too, as it pushes further into open waters.
00:53With two powerful systems spinning on both sides of the Americas,
00:56meteorologists are keeping a close eye.
00:59This hurricane season isn't letting up anytime soon.
