The new homes will be part of phases three and four of the Berrington Meadows development by Shrewsbury-based developer, Fletcher Homes.
Transcript
00:00I've come to the village of Cross Houses, which is about four miles southeast of Shrewsbury.
00:05It's where local developer Fletcher Homes wants to build 55 houses as an extension to the Barrington Meadows development.
00:12Planning permission was granted back in 2015 for the first two phases of the development, which show the construction of 75 new homes.
00:20If the latest plans are given the green light, the extension would be built on this field, which sits between the Bell Inn and a disused railway line to the south.
00:28Fletcher Homes say the development is within a sustainable location and would form a natural extension to the existing development.
00:36The plans are open for public consultation until Friday, October 10th, when then they'll go before Shropshire Council's planning department.
