00:01More than 100 new homes could be built in a West Yorkshire village under plans being considered by Leeds City
00:06Council.
00:07The proposal would see 114 houses and flats developed on farmland off Westerton Road in West Ardsley between Leeds and
00:16Wakefield.
00:17Developers say the mix of homes from one to four bedrooms would help meet local demand, with more than 15
00:24% classed as affordable.
00:25Plans include a three-storey apartment block and public open space.
00:30The council says the application is open for consultation, with residents able to comment before a decision is made in
00:37the coming weeks.
00:39The consultation runs until 27th March.
