Thunderstorms have caused ground stops in Dallas, Texas, in the morning of Sept. 22. In the afternoon, severe weather is expected to cause some moderate air travel delays in Miami, Florida.

00:00The ground stop is back in Dallas with thunderstorms mostly north of the metroplex here,

00:05but with thunderstorms nearby at Dallas-Fort Worth International with some ground stops.

00:08So this is going to be a problem for a couple of hours here this morning.

00:12We'll take you into the north central United States.

00:15The rain is out of the St. Louis area, so I've cleared you for the rest of today in St. Louis.

00:22The one place to look for would be Chicago this afternoon, some spotty storms.

00:26Now, if it comes near the airport like it's doing right now in Dallas-Fort Worth,

00:29you can get some ground stops.

00:31You can see that again on the southeastern United States map.

00:34From Orlando, Tampa toward Miami, some afternoon storms and some minor delays

00:38to moderate delays in Miami and some delays with storms in Nashville.
